We were expecting and happy with basic room for the price. BUT unfortunately it was truly awful. The bathroom was really dirty and the sewerage smell was dreadful . It was so late on arrival and we were exhausted we reluctantly stayed the night but got up really early and left for another hotel. Each to their own but it wasn't for us.

Welcoming and very good value
Franck is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We have stayed overnight at Hotel Inn Design, Laon, 5 times and find it excellent value for the price. It's very clean, bed is comfortable and it's only a short walk to Aldi and Carrefour supermarkets.

For the price, this was an amazing stay. The check in is late- which was tough- but the staff are so friendly and the room was clean. I recommend staying here as an inexpensive and pet and family friendly option.

A budget hotel, but this reflects in the price. It was fine for 1 night, but I wouldn't want to stay longer. Too far from the town to walk. Breakfast was very basic. Free parking which was a bonus. There was a room with a TV where we were able to sit at night and take a bottle of wine to share. The guy on reception even lent us 2 wine glasses. This made our stay much nicer, as we would have had to spend the evening in the small bedroom. There's a large supermarket close by. I would stay again for the price.

We had arranged to give me access to the building and room after check in hours as I would have had arrived late on Friday 01 Oct. I entered the building fine but the room (number 5) I was given access to by email was already occupied. I tried number 15 as thought maybe there was a typo and it was indeed that one but it hadn’t been cleaned from previous visitor - everything was used and dirty. Appalling!

I booked 3 rooms and was told they only had a booking for 1 room. 2 more rooms were found and all 3 paid for. the other original 2 rooms were then treated as a no show and charged to my credit card. I paid for 5 rooms due to this error. when i pointed this out the receptionist shrugged and said i would be charged for all 5.
