"We arrived at 4:30 p.m. in the dark. The grounds and building are not well lit. Reception was easy and welcoming and the receptionist helped us up the stairs with our bags There is no elevator.. She also helped us with the television and WiFi and provided directions to an excellent nearby restaurant. (The hotel kitchen is closed today, therefore, no dinner or breakfast available. The room is clean, comfortable and spacious. Television channels are limited and volume set very low. Very comfortable sleep. "

"The host was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. It’s a historic house which he lovingly restored and upgraded with modern conveniences. Lots of period details and antique touches throughout. We highly recommend it and would gladly stay there next time we visit the area."

"Very good value! Clean room, comfortable bed, lots of hot water. Fridge and microwave was a bonus. Very picturesque location by the riverside. "

"Very nice area for scenery. Found the rooms dirty, shower head was spraying from the connection, patio doors were not able to lock. Fruit flies were everywhere in the room which was the biggest downfall. Had to throw out food that I had bought after one night because the flies got into it. The property manager was actually quite nice. But I left two nights earlier then I submitted and refused to adjust any refund. I probably won’t use Expedia or stay at that place again. No refund policy with Expedia and losing out on $200 because the job I was there for finished early I’m not a fan of."
