"All in all me and my partner loved our short stay away in a beautiful shepherds hut. It was out of the way and so peaceful, i’d definitely stay here again. The only thing that let it down was the door latches and there was a gap in the bathroom door. "

"We had a lovely stay in the cabin. Perfectly located to get to lovely cliff walks and the sea and Paula is an amazing host always on hand to help with anything we needed. We would love to go back. The cabin is really well equipped and is deceptively spacious inside. The view from the deck of the cabin was lovely - straight over to the sea and whilst there are other houses around it felt private and set back from other gardens."

"Just wow. This place is beautiful, it's so well equipped with everything you can possibly think of. Gorgeous welcome package of scones, cream and jam and THE most delicious bread. They even painted me a beautiful stone whoch I love. The hut was decorated with banners for my birthday which made me smile so much. The hot tub is quality and we spent hours in there. We will definitely be going back, one last thing, the hosts were really lovely people and very thoughtful. Thank you so very mych."

"A wonderful cottage with the sweetest hosts. We picked the Duckpool lodge after reading several reviews on overall cleanliness and they were right. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed for a lovely weekend away. We enjoyed the quiet seclusion of the area but the convenience of many beaches and attractions not far away. I highly recommend visiting Tintagel and/or Boscatle for an active day out. Well worth the drive. "

"We had a fab stay the location of the property is amazing. Improvement could be made on the cleanliness, we found mouldy food in the fridge and insects on the kitchen work tops, and had to hoover dust and sand out of the draw’s before putting clothes in.An outside tap for rinsing beach stuff would be a good addition "

"Very impressed with the lodge and experience of our holiday. Staff were very helpful on arrival and lodge was very large with privacy which was great for us. "Had an amazing stay at stairway to Devon. Nathan and Helen are fantastic hosts from start to finish. The cabin is stunning with all the added extras that make it special. The cabin is immaculate with everything you need for your stay. I think the local cider and homemade chocolate brownies was a really nice touch. If you are looking for a relaxing retreat with your partner with amazing views of the countryside then this is the place for you. Will definitely be back. Our two chocolate Labradors...
