"Friendly and lovely place. Our room was small but it had everything we needed. Jo kindly left us croissants and yogurts for the morning and was very flexible with check-in. Askrigg is a beautiful village. It’s certainly worth a visit if you are a fan of James Harriott!"

"Lovely accommodation for our 5 families to get together... 10 adults, 4 children and 3 dogs. Location is perfect, right in the centre of Darlington with parks close by for the children. A little bit dated but absolutely perfect for what we wanted. Great big bay windows for people watching onto the street was also a massive bonus (although the windows only opened from the bottom up so dangerous for the little ones and dogs, just to bare in mind, but not a negative in anyway!) "Great location in Richmond right next to castle and market center. Just steps to market Center, shops and restaurants. The apartment is newly remodeled, clean and spacious. It is well appointed and quiet. Our host was easy to reach and responsive. There were chocolates and fresh milk in the fridge. 2 things of note; parking is not provided and somewhat of a challenge. Also, no shampoo, body wash or lotion for the bath. Thank you for a lovely stay. "

"Apartment was great apart from issue with hot water. My main problem was not with the owner of the apartment, but with the management company "Host and Stay". They take a refundable deposit straight away but it takes 14 days to get it back!!! As there was issues with hot water they offered a partial refund, again this took over 14 days and numerous messages/calls to request call back. Very frustrating, I will be checking future bookings to make sure "Host and Stay" are not managing the...
