Restored 100-year-old Barn House in Private Forest. Perfect for gatherings.

The moment the front door of The Barn House opens, you realize that you have entered a rare and majestic piece of history. This 4 story, 100+ year old barn has been meticulously and lovingly transformed into a nature haven in the middle of a grand forest. Throughout the structure you will discover how many sections were restored using reclaimed beams, wood and stone from other antique barns in our area. With 8 bedrooms and 2.5 baths on 100 acres, this is the perfect place for any gathering. All new modern amenities provide you with conveniences while appreciating the rustic charm and character of this home. Gormet meals can be prepared in the fully stocked new kitchen with a 6 burner gas stove, double door large stainless refrigerator, double sink and dishwasher. The kitchen has 2 windows to pass meals thru to the screened porch. Amongst the large kitchen and entertaining areas, the 1st floor provides a master bedroom and full bath along with a half bath. First level flooring is an exquisite etched concrete with radiant heat for a toasty ambiance in the winter months. The 2nd floor places 3 bedrooms and a full bath with outside access to an upper deck overlooking the back yard and stream. At the end of the hallway, you will arrive to the 3 steps that transports you to the 3rd floor Library. The 2-story library is floor to ceiling solid wood shelves holding various themed books and vintage reading material, Enjoy Several big windows provide tranquil outside views. Curl up by the fireplace to read or listen to music. Off the library is the staircase that brings you to the 4th floor and the remaining 4 bedrooms.

The Barn House sits back about 1000 feet from the road. A curvy driveway past a meadow and creek will bring you to the home that is nestled amongst many trees. With a large screened in porch and multiple porch and deck spaces this home provides many options for entertaining. The spacious open yard areas, surrounded by trees, gives a wonderful opportunity to set up tents, tables and chairs.
Miles of hiking trails throughout our 300-acre homestead offer a variety of views from different elevations. Grilling is a pleasure on the large, covered deck. The large family room or Library gives opportunity for game or movie night while enjoying the fireplaces in the autumn and winter months.
