"Our multi-generational family absolutely loved our stay at Fell End. The house was decorated for Xmas and is beautiful throughout. The facilities including movie room, hot tub, table football, table tennis were awesome. The house is homely, warm throughout and stylishly and comfortably furnished! Great value!!"

"We stayed at Crackin View for a long weekend just before Christmas for our annual family Christmas holiday. Ages ranging from 5 - 65 with quite a few teenagers. The house was perfect for what we needed. Plently of room and commual areas for our large family, the living room was a great layout for playing family games. "Great little cottage, definitely remote (but easy to find) and with a lovely wild little garden, albeit it shared with the next door cottage, so care is needed when letting dogs (and children)! in and out. Was very well appointed although we had a couple of little niggles, being a loose toilet roll holder downstairs and we found it very dusty and would definitely benefit from a top to toe bottoming with a damp cloth, surfaces, inside cupboards etc. Finally we weren't overlly keen on the lack of...

"Good communication and ease of booking. Very easy to find. Parking not to difficult although not outside (as listing says). Great location with just a short walk into town. Heating good and needed in January. Loads of hot water for the group and good showers. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Would recommend. Only negative bathrooms not cleaned from previous booking."

"Lovely cottage in a nice quiet location. Facilities very good. Secure garden for our 2 dogs & a lovely walk through a little wood and a grassed area to play ball with the dogs. The owner was very helpful. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed this perfect little cottage in the picturesque village of Wall which is close to the historical town of Hexham. It is perfectly set up with all you can want and more. Well equipped kitchen, pretty bathroom, delightful sitting room. Parking is easy and great to be able to wash your clothes. Our host was warm , friendly and so helpful. So much to see and do locally and Hexham is lovely. We give it 10 out of 10"

"We had a lovely stay. Nice views over the fields. Kitchen well equipped with tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits. Luxury feel. Enjoyed the hot tub which was warm and ready for us arriving. Would recommend this place and I think we’ll be back."

Fantastic 3 days spent at the Beaumont

"Fantastic 3 days spent at the Beaumont. It’s our 4th visit and as ever it’s a great way to re- energise in a relaxing environment with such friendly staff. The Northumberland gastronomy that the menu provides is very clever and an explosion of local flavours is backed up with an array of well selected wines - Albariño albeit Spanish or Portuguese is recommended. Take the time to enjoy this beautiful boutique hotel but don’t ignore the history of the town of Hexham and neighbouring enclaves. A visit to the Abbey crypt is well worth the large stepped decent and a trawl through the local antiques often uncovers a gem or two. There’s no shortage of artisan trades in this thriving town and the Indepent retail owners are testimony to the thriving town. Fantastic 3 days spent at the Beaumont. It’s our 4th visit and as ever it’s a great way to re- energise in a relaxing environment with such friendly staff. Most enjoyable

"We really enjoyed our stay which was partly a Christmas Present for my wife. The weather was kind and we were able to visit Hadrians Wall as well as Vindalanda and get in some good walks (for us!). The accommodation was excellent the staff very friendly and helpful. We were completely satisfied."
