Family and friends thought we were on a cruise ship when we shared some photos. The waterfront location filled with natural night and picture windows throughout does make it feel like you’re floating on water. You can sense the loving care the owners invest by the many thoughtful details; a well-appointed kitchen, fluffy towels, yummy-smelling soaps, baskets of hotel-sized shampoo and conditioner, books, puzzles, binoculars, and cable television with multiple movie channels. We were entertained each morning by Goldeneye diving seabirds and playful seals as we sipped coffee in the loft, and the view is a moving postcard from nearly every window. It is also a great location for a quick trip to Freeland grocery store, Langley restaurants, galleries and shops, Greenbank Farm gardens, café and shops, exploring the quaint waterfront village of Coupeville, multiple wineries, visits to local art studios, and a variety of great hikes. A highlight was a sunny Easter morning walk out to the point, where we were greeted by a pod of Grey Whale feeding only 30 yards offshore. Thank you, Karrie, for sharing your beautiful beachfront home!
