"The garage is charged separately and is extremely narrow, so be careful. Seriously! The hotel is 20 min walk to the historical town. We had an issue with the shower and we were immediately moved to another room. Great staff. The heating in the room was not great though. The breakfast had very few options and it was not worth it. "The house was a really special place to stay with beautiful rooms and fantastic facilities. Despite the cool, damp weather outside, the house was lovely and warm with easily controllable radiators - a really pleasant surprise in such an old building. The pool was great and the games room was a real treat - especially for my teenage son and husband! The location is great - just round the corner from the centre of Saumur and all it has to offer. We were able to be at the table of one of the excellent local restaurants in minutes by foot. Gilles was an attentive host and made sure we were enjoying our stay. I would highly recommend!"
