"My husband and I spent a week at this cabin along with our twenty-something sons and their partners, and all we had a great time. I don't think the photos do justice to the cabin, as it was larger than we expected, roomy enough for 11 people to sleep, so we may bring other family members the next time we visit. "We came as a group of lady golfers and the house was perfect for our needs. It is well stocked with everything you could need and more. Beds super comfy, back deck lovely to sit on and have coffee. Rebecca was quick to respond and even allowed us in a bit early to leave stuff before we went golfing. It’s not just the house but the special touches that Rebecca provided. "I do NOT recommend staying at this property. It's false advertising. The house says it's 4 bedrooms but there's actually only 3 bedrooms and the other 1 is in the hallway. She doesn't share all the photos of the place. She says the house is under construction but it's actually old and falling part, decomposing. The electricity around the house is scary and mostly not working, the deck is unsafe and about to break down, so many things were broken - the fridge door completely fell into my arms...

"we had a wonderful family visit at this property. The owners were very generous and efficient and gave us lots of privacy. There was a sauna, a hot tub and a view that was unbelievable. This property is very unique. It is well off the beaten path with easy access to swimming in fresh or salt, water and lots of hiking. "Well situated in quiet neighborhood, close to the ocean and lakes. The property consists of a cottage and a cabin. The cabin is essentially a tiny home with a queen bed, bathroom and kitchenette. Super cosy. The cottage is well laid out, beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Lots of outdoor living space. Annie was great in helping us with check-in and check-out. She gave us lots of tips and ideas of what to do in the area. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend."

"We loved staying at this home. Loved the beautiful fenced backyard for our small children and dog, and the house was spacious and comfortable. The master suite is beautiful! It was so nice to be close to the beach so we could walk down anytime we wanted. "Hubby and I loved it and cant wait to go back. The Lohr family was great. Kristin was super accommodating in so many ways and gave us complete privacy. The only thing that could be improved is the patio. We'd love to be able to sit outside to drink our coffee rain or shine. There's no gutters and even though there's a pergola, the furniture got soaked and stayed wet our whole stay.. "

Shelter Pt. a 10min walk to this beautiful park with a fabulous beach

"It was so nice to get out of the city and away from traffic noise and city lights. All amenities were provided and the spring water was delicious. The old house is full of charm and tastefully decorated. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen very modern. We didn't get to use the wood stove because the weather was warm. All in all, it was a wonderful stay."

"If you like beauty, peace, and quiet, you’ll love this place. The house is well appointed, and has some nice updates/upgrades. The windows in the living room and dining room are perfectly situated for the view. It’s worth noting the house is a little bit difficult to get to from the driveway to the front door if you’re elder, or hauling groceries. It was not a downfall for us but may be for some. "Wish the doors wouldn’t slam. When we load or pack up we keep the door open so it doesn’t keep slamming and to be considerate of next door or rooms above and below who might be sleeping in on their vacay. Not all the cleaners do this either so you can imagine. other than the doors the place is beautiful set. Everyone gets a balcony to the water. Their restaurant has a great menu. Staff are friendly and hospitable. Ample parking and gym on site. Swimming pool has not been fixed for eons but I think it’s partly business reasons. I come back again anyday as it’s better than other hotels in area. And quieter lol to hear the doors slam only. 😍 "
