"We had a great stay at the Chapel. its is centrally located in Hoorn with easy access to the square and the harbor. even though its in town it is very quiet. it is equipped with all the basic necessities for cooking. "It is not in the heart of the city, but is only a 15-45 minute tram ride away from many of the major sites in Amsterdam. One of the few locations we found that can fit a bunch of people. We had seven with one couple and everyone had their own rooms (couple sharing). Bathrooms are good. Shower on the second floor is a little small/awkward. Water pressure in the shower on the third floor is just okay. WiFi was good, however you can lose reception on the third floor in some rooms. Stairs are...

"Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub in diesem sehr großen und ruhigen gelegenem Objekt. Es gab in der engeren Umgebung nur 2 weitere Häuser, wovon man allerdings nichts mitbekommen hat. Was etwas hinderlich war, das waren die Stechmücken, diese haben sich immer selbst eingeladen. Aber mit regelmäßigen Schutzsprays, konnte man dem etwas entgegenwirken. Was ich persönlich nicht so schön fand war, dass das Geschirr teilweise nicht richtig sauber war, und wir zuerst spülen mussten bevor wir es...

"This home was perfect for us…two retired couples, traveling from Texas. The home was comfortable, it had nice amenities, and was perfectly located for all of our activities. Less than an hour from Amsterdam, 45 minutes from Keukenhof, an 11/2 hrs from Giethoorn, an hour from Gouda. The town center is close by, with great restaurants and grocery markets."

"Diego made the process of staying in the NL very smooth! Communication was great---in the booking stage, at checkin, and regarding the property during stay. Very comfortable home, great facilities. The little town center just a few block's walk away is indeed very helpful and quite substantial. Transit very close, not difficult at all, even with luggage in tow."

"A lovely house and garden with stream at the end. The river is close by, and was idyllic to paddle board / kayak on and has a well used cycle route alone it. The tennis court, almost next to the house, was always available. Location is rural but it is easy to get to Amsterdam and lots of other places. Caroline was quick to respond to messages. Highly recommend and hope to visit again soon."
