"Lovely B&B located in the middle of lavender fields. The owners were friendly, room was clean, and pool was nice. We stay in late July, there are a lot of mosquitoes around pool so I recommend to have mosquitoes spray handy. May be because due to the covid, dinner at the B&B was not available. Either we go to a restaurant or get something at the supermarket. "Setting was lovely, charming hosts, beautiful pool, great breakfast. We loved the garden. The town of Barjac is a beautifully preserved and little known Renaissance town with some great restaurants. The only drawback was our room smelled a bit musty and was dark. Unavoidable -- since we were on the lower level of the mas. Would opt for one of the yurts next time."

"Sleeping in a castle is an experience in itself. But then there was the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners who were at ease in their role as hosts and made the experience most memorable. "This place has huge potential to be amazing but there are some things that are not there yet. It is a beautiful, traditional building with a pool and outdoor bbq to use which are both brilliant. You need a car because it isn’t close to things but it is located in beautiful vineyards, close to lovely, small, French towns to explore. "Friendly welcome and very comfortable room. The swimming pool is beautiful. Excellent breakfast. The kitchen area for guests is well-equipped and very useful. The local area is varied and interesting - off the beaten tourist track, but a must for wine-lovers. Good markets in local towns and villages, and Roman remains to explore. My second stay at Vieux Platanes, and I am sure to return."

"In August, my Partner and I rented the upstairs, two bedroom Mistral apartment. On our arrival, we received a very friendly welcome from Denis, Claudia and Calice...! Our accommodation was superb... spacious, very nicely decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It overlooked the pretty gardens via French doors. Outside, we had a small private area with table and chairs and ample parking. We had use of the swimming pool, gardens and barbecue. There are very nice walks through the vineyards...
