"to begin with I have to admit I liked the 501 against my better judgement at times but the location and views allows a lot to be forgiven. I can imagine the 501 in its glory days would have been spectacular. the architecture is still on place and quality never goes out of style. however the old girl does look a little tired and could benefit from a little renovation in places. the staff, mainly Italian or course and many locals, can be a little abrupt or disinterested when they are busy...

"E' una struttura a conduzione familiare, semplice, ma fornita di tutto. Noi abbiamo alloggiato in una stanza per 4 persone, pur essendo in due, e siamo stati benissimo; bagno pulito e grande, unico neo la mancanza della doccia. Abbiamo fatto la mezza pensione e ci siamo trovati bene. Il rapporto qualità prezzo decisamente buono."

"Loved this little place!!! What a find! The drive in was interesting, is it is at the end of an indistrial estate, but once you get there you are literally on the beach! It was fabulous and we only wish we had another few days. "

"We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and we had a wonderul room. However, the cleanliness in the dining room was rather poor. The tables never got cleaned properly. The crumbs were just brushed of the table so it was left very sticky. I always used alcohol hand gel during breakfast. The cudlery could have also been cleaner.
