"This is an old house, with some interesting history & furnishings. It is not a hotel, it’s a B&B, with 3-4 bedrooms and the owners live upstairs. The ( ensuite) bathrooms are very dated. The ( included) breakfasts are served at 9am, but the staff are very helpful and did provide breakfast earlier when we asked. The house overlooks Regua across the River, it’s only a 20-minute walk into that town which has a couple of good restaurants for dinner. The town of Lamego is further, about a 15-minute...

"We had a wonderful stay at Julio's place. He greeted us personally at the door, walked is through the place, got us settled and invited us to a glass of Port. His place was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Great to be beside a working vineyard, lovely outside patio although we enjoyed it only briefly due to the weather. You do need a car to enjoy this lovely place. We'd be happy to come again. "

"Room was very rundown as though Expedia clients get the worse rooms. Toilet ran all night, had to get the lamp fixed, curtains were fithy, and entrance garden all overgrown making it hard to enter the room. Too bad- potentially a great place but needs alot of work."
