"Communication was a bit of a problem as I don’t speak French and never received an actual address. A bit of a smell when we arrived and a few bugs in the unit. However, we loved the backyard garden area and spent the entire evening back there. Also to note, no hand or dish drying towels in the kitchen or downstairs bathroom. There is no dishwasher here."

"The location of the property is perfect and there is a parking spot which was so nice and convenient to have! The outdoor patio is private and the neighborhood is quiet. Very clean and modern. We had a great time. However, there may be better options for short-stay international travelers. There is no WiFi (which I suppose is "mentioned" in the listing via omission). The lack of WiFi did not contribute to my overall rating, just something to note. There is a dishwasher but no dishwasher soap...

"Everything about my stay in "Jeanne" was wonderful. The rooms are so bright and sunny, and nicely decorated. Everything needed for comfort and convenience is provided- from linens and towels to a well-appointed kitchen. The location is perfect. I could easily walk to everything I wanted to see in Bayeux- the Cathedral, the museums, restaurants, cafés, parks- as well as to local markets, bakeries, wine shops and more. "Nice apartment. Great location, walk to everything you need, and clean. Things to note: if you have any leg issues, the stairs are steep and there is only a rope used as a hand rail, could be unsafe for some people. Also I think this is a "French thing". There are few things like paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, napkins; you are asked to supply your own, also only 1 towel each for a 3 day stay. All in all we did enjoy our stay."
