"We had a wonderful time during our 4-night stay in the Nanny's Attic room at The Queen. We felt very much at home thanks to the attentions of Nancy and her staff. Our room was beautifully furnished and was cozy and comfortable. The food (breakfast) was locally sourced and amazing. Nancy, our host, shared a wealth of knowledge of local history giving us many choices of restaurants and attractions to visit. The location was within easy walking distance of stores and restaurants in downtown Bellefonte; close to multiple state parks and natural areas; and less than 20 minutes from Boalsburg and State College. Staying at the Queen gave us a great appreciation of the neighborhood and surrounding community of Bellefonte and Centre county."

"I was not expecting much, but this room and hotel exceeded my expectations. The place was very nice. Our room was comfortable and clean. My only (small) complaint was that the walls and/or floors were paper thin and I could hear someone’s loud TV all night while I was trying to sleep. But that’s a pretty common issue in many hotels and I would definitely stay here again. "

"An absolutely amazing place, on a hill overlooking the lake in the state park. Immaculate grounds and friendly staff. I was truly impressed by the mission-style furniture and all the bird pictures, books, and stuffed animals. Great fireplace in the dining room and a well-appointed game room too. Highly recommended and I am sure we will be back."
