"We truly loved our home away from home in Rennes. Tucked behind the Cathedral this location had it all—half-timbered, old city charm, restaurants, shopping and a nearby metro for a quick trip to the train station. The house is well equipped and our stay was very comfortable. (Note:for those with mobility issues, this is not the place for you due to Cobblestones streets and internal stairs leading up to the first and second floors.)"

An easy walk to the nearby lake for swimming/kayaks etc. bakery is opposite and short drive to supermarket. Market up the road for food on a Thursday morning. "This rental stated it had a washer & dryer as amenities, but this was false. We asked where they were located, the host gave us directions to the nearest laundromat. She was out of town for all our stay but the last day, & that's OK. She said we could use her washer once she returned for a cost of 5 euros. Check in did not go smoothly as we did not have the gate & keybox codes when we arrived. Communication with the host was sporadic as she could only convo thru vrbo & did not want to text or...

"Other than being really really hot in the summer, this house was lovely. The cleanest of all the houses we stayed in during our European tour. If you stay here, you MUST visit Puy du Fou, an absolutely AMAZING medieval amusement park. The owner was nice, the house is a very small upper apartment, but serviceable. You have to be quiet because the owner is just on the other side of the thin walls. The neighbors had huge parties every saturday night that lasted all through the day sunday. Nothing...

Supermarket w/in 5 minutes, boulangerie within 10. A few eateries in the vicinity (and more coming). Despite being near the RR tracks, quiet quiet (slept with the windows open during the heat wave). Also, (we were 5 women one male) no fears expressed about safety. Walking into the "happening" areas (and train station)...

"The pictures tell it all. The house is stunningly reimagined from its history as a carriage house. All furnishings, appliances, etc high quality. Wonderful terrace. One block from Thabor Park, which is fabulous. Easy walking to center of the city and a short taxi ride from from the train station. Cocoonr (the mgt company) staff were great. We would stay there again."

"Firstly a big thank you to the staff - without doubt they make this aparthotel welcoming and are very helpful. The car park is easy to access & secure. The room we had was fine, reasonably modern with everything we needed. Being on the first floor we did suffer from quite a lot of fan noise from the next building if we wanted to keep the window open. The gym was a bonus. The position of the accommodation is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the centre though buses are available. It's a pleasant area...
