"Quite and safe "

"We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2023.The room was nice and spacious with a lovely big comfy bed and mini fridge in the cupboard. We had a problem with our hot water for a couple of nights but this was fixed after mentioning to reception. The setting of the hotel is nice with immaculate gardens but A LOT of steps to get anywhere. Our room was about halfway to the restaurant and was 116 steps down from reception! "After nearly a year, I came back to Hotel Himalaya to discover many minor improvement to the hotel. Security improved in card access lift and doorway, a renovated lounge, enlarged outdoor dining, I like it. The room is still clear though not yet renovated. Reception is reasonable. Overall I still enjoyed my stay with my colleague. "

"I can't say enough good things about this place. It's centrally located and I found it to be a home away from home. I was only there three days but during that time period I had an issue with my eye that needed a doctor visit. They totally accommodated me. They found an eye doctor and took me there. Not only once, but twice. I am thankful for the opportunity to have stayed with this kind family and would not hesitate to stay there again."

"Nice property that is located in a pretty good area in terms of bars and restaurants. Service is the best aspect of the hotel. I stayed in a room that could use some updating, however. I think other rooms probably have modern bathrooms based on the one in the lobby. The airport shuttle is convenient. The breakfast is a solid way to start the day.
