"Great pool area for the kids"

"Some of the carpet is older and tattered but they are renovating some rooms so I expect more improvements also. Cool to see my closest rooms being renovated so we knew it would be quiet. Nice quiet lobby to sit and read and crochet in the morning while my husband sleeps in. No obnoxious TV blaring with CNN like so many hotels these days. "The only thing I don’t like was the amount of noise and kids running back and forth during the night. It was very loud and tough to sleep. I’m not one to complain and I probably should have said something, but truthfully I was afraid I would make it worse by saying something to the kids running up and down the halls. "

"I was concerned when I drove up - the grounds were weedy and unkempt, and there were construction workers barbecuing on the edge of the parking lot. But inside all was clean, quiet and comfortable, and staff was attentive. They said the workers outside were long-term guests and were allowed to gather outside on a Friday afternoon as long as they were quiet and didn't bother guests, and that was absolutely the case. Good value for the money."
