Welcome to Sunrise Escape

Come and enjoy this wonderful Indian Lake cottage with amazing views. Take advantage of all that Indian Lake has to offer or just relax by the firepit. A short drive/walk to several restaurants and other conveniences.

Lots of things to do all year around.

If you have a kayak or raft - there is a great place to launch those at the end of our street.

If you have a powerboat - my home does not come with access to a dock. However, you may want to research one of several boat launches - including Ohio State Parks.

Beautiful property
Myself and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here this weekend. The house was clean and well appointed with everything we needed for our visit. The neighborhood was super quiet and the location was nice right by the lake. I would definitely stay here again.

My daughter lives in the area and got married during our weekend stay. The accommodations were as advertised. Very clean and fit our needs perfectly. We didn’t get any time to do anything in the area but we will definitely stay in the future when we come back to visit with our family.

Sunrise Escape for the solar eclipse
We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful lake cottage. It was in the perfect spot for the eclipse and for family to gather to witness it. The kitchen is well stocked and was easy to cook in, the beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of places to gather inside and out. Would recommend!

Perfect for a weekend getaway
Traveled with my mom, 8 year old daughter, & 4 year old son. We loved every minute at the house. It was clean, comfortable, as described, & close to everything. We would def return next year for our annual trip!

What an awesome place. The pics don't do it justice in my opinion. Great location. Top floor is great as is the main bedroom. Beautifully decorated. Short walk to the lake.

What a delightful house. Great amenities, plus a little whimsy. Pocket doors. The spiral staircase up to the 3rd floor lookout room. Wonderful accent lighting in the kitchen.

Lakeside Cottage
First visit to Indian Lake for our family of five. Overall, this home fit our needs for a long weekend, and we were pleased with the owner's responsiveness to our questions. Cleanliness did not meet our standards, though (dirty bathroom rug, empty soap bottles left behind, insects, lots of cobwebs). The neighborhood was a mix of nicer homes and run-down properties.

Sunrise Escape
The house was lovely, clean, very well updated, good wifi, great kitchen, but sleeping accommodations are definitely not for 6! The pull out sleeper sofa in the living room is a twin bed!! Also, if you sleep way up in the loft, on the 3rd floor, you have to come all the way down to the 1st floor to use the bathroom. But we had a nice time at Sunrise Escape!

Great location!
The house is just as pictured in the listing. Keep in mind that the second bedroom is up a spiral staircase and is an open space (no door) and does not have vents for air conditioning. I don’t think this would be great for very young children; however, it worked great for our young adult children. Most of the days we stayed were low 70’s so, the upstairs was comfortable. The space does have lots of windows that could be opened for a breeze. The kitchen area is perfect for hanging out and playing games and we used the fire pit every evening. There are lots of wonderful activities to do nearby.

overall a great home, great location, reasonable price
Well done. Lots of great, fun and functional details. Read the description carefully, the second floor bedroom has its' own bathroom, but the third floor bedroom needs to go to the first floor. Not so good for mid-night bathroom run. The tap water is probably well water; we are not used to the sulfur.The central a/c was not working but we assume that they will fix that very soon.
