Now accepting dogs! We are happy to welcome your furry friend to Ziggy's. A large portion of the rear yard is fenced to keep your furry friends contained.

Ziggy's Hideaway is a real log cabin with beautiful log beams throughout situated on two and 1/4 acres bordering the Reservation in the tall pines of Lakeside, AZ. Our cabin sleeps 8 on high end mattresses in 3 bedrooms with additional sleeping for 4 on 2 twin air mattresses and 1 full size futon. The Master Bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with dual sinks and large dual head shower. The Family Bathroom has a bath/shower combination. There is a fully equipped kitchen including coffee maker, blender, toaster, oven, microwave, full size fridge with freezer, ice maker, and filtered water as well as everything you need to cook a full holiday meal. There are dishes and silverware for twelve and seating for twelve at the bar and dining table. All bedrooms have flat screen TV's; in total we have five flat screen TV's. The upstairs loft is perfect for the kids with seating for 5+ and TV with XBox 360 and limited games. Sitting in the loft you have beautifulviews of the Reservation to the front and to the rear are the tall pines on the property, it is like being in your own tree house. There is a private deck off the Master Bedroom for relaxing and listening to the sound of the tall pines. The front fully gated deck encompasses the front of the cabin and provides unobstructed views of the Reservation where you can see wild horses, cows, Jack Rabbits, deer, elk and bears.

We provide paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, kitchen sponge. We also have a hospitality tray which includes your first night's coffee, assorted teas and some sweet treats!

Nice cabin in a great secluded location! Had a wonderful stay! Would recommend some maintenance improvements to improve future guests stay. Consider replacing the worn out oven and master bedroom mattress. master bedroom mattress.

Great Location
Far enough away from town to feel like you are in the wilderness, close enough it is a short drive to anything you need. Loved sitting on the porch with undeveloped Apache land right across the street. Owners are super helpful, checking in and sending up to date travel advisories before you travel. Great place to stay!

Our family of four stayed at Ziggy's Hideaway for 4 nights. This was our first time visiting the Lakeside/Show Low area and the cabin was the perfect location. Accommodations were spacious, clean, and comfortable for all of us. Location was very convenient and the communication with the property owners was fantastic.

Excellent Family Retreat
We really enjoyed our stay at Ziggy's. The cabin was immaculately clean,very well appointed and had everything A a cooking family like ours requires. It is well situated. for those who want to be within close proximity to stores and conveniences. We are very much an experienced outdoor family and would likely have done well in a location that is more remote. This time we had some very young children in our family group, so the cabin was well situated for everything we needed.

We love staying here.
Ziggy's Hideaway is an awesome place to stay. We have stayed here twice and had a very enjoyable experience both times. It is a beautiful a spacious cabin for our family of six. It is in a neighborhood, but kind of on the outskirts. It is located on a gravel road and the scenery is peaceful and beautiful! Working with the property manager was so easy. They were friendly, helpful and available. I really appreciate how quickly they responded to any questions or concerns. All in all I would highly recommend this vacation getaway!

Perfect place to getaway, relax, and have fun with the family
This was my first time renting a cabin and the owners made it so simple! This place has a true cabin feel and has more than enough room between the bedrooms and the loft upstairs. Plenty of games, movies, and fully stocked with everything you would need. Sitting on the wrap around front porch relaxing drinking coffee in the morning was so peaceful. This cabin is close to anything you'd need like stores gas stations and some really good restaurants that have great reviews. At the same time, it's tucked away in the woods just enough to have a camping feel. I'd definitely go here again!

Wonderful!
We came to Ziggys with several of our children and some grandchildren too so we had a large variety of ages. Let's just say everyone from 1-58 felt comfortable and found things to do. The home is lovely and well suited for large groups as is the kitchen for seating 12 very comfortably. We all LOVED the fire pit and making s'mores and the front porch was delightful especially as we watched the rain. We enjoyed the location -- not only is it very quiet and yet close to groceries, Walmart etc... but also nicely located from several lakes and hiking spots. We would love to stay there again. Like tomorrow. 😉 And Nick is great and easily reached.

Beautiful, quiet log cabin in the pines
The cabin, while looking rustic as a log cabin, is very clean and modern. We had 2 adults and 5 children. The space was more than adequate. The kids loved playing in the loft and watching TV. There are 5 TVs in the house as well as wireless internet and air conditioning. The wireless signal was somewhat inconsistent. The bunk room was perfect for the 4 youngest kids. Since the floor plan has the master bedroom split to one side the kids could make some noise in their room and it was still quiet in the master. The cabin is close to both Show Low and Pinetop. We loved the convenience of easily going either direction. Our grandkids are already asking about staying in this cabin when they visit us next summer.

Quiet Family Home
Staying at Ziggy’s was a treat. There are three bedrooms and a large loft. The master has a king bed, the second bedroom a queen, and the third bedroom has 4 bunk beds. I assume the loft could be used as a sleeping space if needed, but there are no blinds on the skylights so you’d be getting an early morning wake up call. It is the perfect hang out space for kids though. The place was clean and well kept. The ceiling corners could have used a spider web sweep, but otherwise it was clean. The owners request no shoes in the cabin, which I didn’t mind but would have liked knowing ahead of time so I could have brought slippers or house shoes. The keyless entry makes getting in and out a breeze and I felt safe in the quiet neighborhood. There is a camera inside the living room which appears to only record the driveway but we felt a little uncomfortable not having been told about it and not knowing if it had audio recording inside. Overall this was a great getaway for our family and we would definitely return.

Birthday Celebration at Ziggy's Cabin
I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Ziggy's Cabin, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was taken aback by the cabin's rustic charm and the serene beauty of the surroundings. The cabin itself was cozy and well-appointed, with every detail thoughtfully designed to ensure a comfortable stay. The living area had a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with a fireplace that added a touch of magic to the evenings. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare delicious meals, and the bedrooms were comfortable and serene, providing a perfect retreat after a day of adventure. One of the highlights of my stay was the stunning view from the cabin's deck. Watching the sunset while sipping a cup of coffee was pure bliss at either front porch or master bedroom balcony. The tranquility of the location allowed me to truly unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The porch goes around the cabin where you have a BBQ at right side for use ,plan chair to sit , it had a fire pit on front of cabin. I also enjoyed exploring the nearby hiking trails, which offered breathtaking views and a chance to connect with nature. The host had some goodies for our arrival . The grandson went straight to the chocolate and I had some tea. The kids love the upstairs with games available to them. At the evening the family played Monopoly as it was available such many others games and books. A five + star stay

Can't wait to stay again!
My family and I had so much fun this trip and the cabin was amazing. The fenced deck and side yard was great for our dog Loui. We sat outside on the deck enjoying the weather and the kids enjoyed playing video games in the loft. The location is perfect and close to two different lakes along with lots of shopping and places to eat. The home has everything you could need. Brett and Nicky were amazing at providing us with information on local places to check out. We can't wait to stay again!
