Great place but could use a little more attention from housekeeping
The location and layout of this rental was fantastic. Tons of space, great views and a spacious patio. However, upon arrival, one of the upstairs beds was unmade with the dirty sheets still in the wash and no trash bags in the kitchen. With a little more attention to getting the house ready, I would highly recommend the condo.

Nice Place for a Reasonable Price
The condo is clean and well laid out. The bedroom/bath downstairs is good for a couple while the main floor bedroom is good for mom/dad with the kids in the double bunkbed room (4 beds there!).

Communication suckef
It would be nice to speak with someone who could understand and be understood when told via email to call if you have questions not someone who gives you the runaround.

Roomy condo at Lakeshore
It’s a nicely accommodated condo with all the amenities. It’s not the best parking set up at this condo & it’s a bit dicey with the ice on the ground or snow can be dangerous. We did not like the on site owner who walked around bossing people for no reason as if he was mad we were there. Please this was embarrassing & unacceptable! I would not like to have a confrontation when I’m on vacation!! This was very stressful. It kinda ruined it for me.

Eagle's Landing #68
The place was clean, easy to access, and roomy. The driveway was snowed in and we were expected to shovel out the hard snow. We skipped this and parked down the road where there was ample parking. Though, this was not communicated in the details I was a little disappointed. Hopefully, this can be modified on the details when reserving the condo. Called the Vacasa help line and they were friendly and inviting.

China Peak weekend
The location of this property was ideal. It’s only a 7 minute drive to China Peak for snow skiing. However, the accommodations could use some improvements. We just expect to have the basics. The beds were horribly uncomfortable. We couldn’t tell if we were on a mattress, or box springs. There were visible crumbs and popcorn in between the cushions of the couch. The stove worked but the oven control panel is broken. The coffee was empty and there was no ice. (There was one ice tray, but it was not full. It had 6 ice cubes left from the previous tenants.)

Planned power outage
This property was a nice property in a nice location. I would rate this property higher but I was very disappointed that our second day there the power was out all day. I called Vacasa which is the property management and was basically told there was nothing they could do and there would be no refund for the day which we paid a decent rate. On my way to get ice for the cooler so all of our food wouldn’t spoil I was told by the next door neighbor who lives there full time that this outage was a scheduled outage and that all residents were informed of this and there would be 2 the following week as well. I called Vacasa back to inform them of this and they said they would look into this issue and get back to me, they never did. They also never responded to an email of a question I had about the property before we left for this trip, so not super impressed with Vacasa property management. I just find that it really lacks integrity to book your property and charge a full rate when there is a planned outage and you will be left with no electricity or a way to cook being that the stove/ oven is electric as well. I was also unable to get Ice because the market was closed due to the planned outage. If there is a planned outage and your place is booked for that time you need to inform your customers so they can decide if that is something they are willing to deal with and pay the full rate without having the amenity of electricity. At the very least we could have been better prepared by getting ice the night before and cooking breakfast before the scheduled time of outage and plan on not being able to cook lunch had we known. I understand things happen and anyone could randomly loose power at anytime, but to find out this was planned and all residents were informed is upsetting. I’m disappointed we payed what we payed to have this situation.

This place is Disgusting. The Motel 6 in Clovis will be more luxurious…
If these owners expect me to pay $500 a night for rent, I expect them to swing by Home Depot and pay 15 bucks for a new toilet seat so I’m not sitting on a 30 year old urine stained, nasty mess. I expect them to swing by TJ Maxx and spend 200 bucks on new comforters to replace the 30 year old polyester, pilled, stained, dusty, and just plain nasty comforter sets. The huge stain in my comforter was an added bonus of grossness. The pillows were rock hard, yellow stained, at least 10 years old, with no pillow protectors. They were just gross. They sell pillows in sets at TJ Maxx for 25 bucks. There were no blankets in my room, but we found some old, scratchy blankets downstairs. New fuzzy and soft blankets run about 25 bucks at TJ Maxx. Seriously. These owners are either incredibly greedy, or just plain gross. This condo was build in the 90’s. I believe that nothing new has been brought here, excluding electronics, since that time. I regularly stay in Motel 6 when I travel with my dogs, so I’m not a hotel snob. This place made Motel 6 look like the freaking Taj Majal with their nice mattresses and pillows manufactured witching this millennia. I have showered in Papua New Guinea with roaches crawling inches from my face on the ceiling and you know what? That wasn’t half as gross as this condo. I own a VRBO lake house and would never expect my guests to accept conditions anything like this. There are two types of owners. Ones like me who are into hospitality and having excellent reviews and return guests, and ones like these owners who bank on having enough new people wanting to ski that they can just turn and burn guests. Even the owners note about the Wi-Fi is oddly condescending and threatening, “If you touch this, you will not have Wi-Fi for the rest of your stay!” As if Vacasa can’t send a handyman in to help. (The on-site management team is great.) Definitely not the hospitality kind of people. Yes, ski condos are supposed to be filled with second hand furniture and fabulous old crap from our primary homes, that’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about owner neglect so severe that it reads as filth and arrogance. Please, take half a nights profit and buy some decent linens, pillows, and cookware. A wine opener wouldn’t kill anyone either. Vacasa is great, this neighborhood is great, just pick ANY other condo than this one.

Great cabin in fantastic location!
We absolutely loved our stay; the cabin is spacious and clean, nestled perfectly in the forest on the side of the hill, and so close to the lake, hiking trails, and so many other outdoor activities. We loved every minute here and definitely will be back!

Size of master and bunks were awesome. Need to leave more than 3 dishwasher tabs for 4 nights, 7 people and 7 meals. Towels were very nice. Only two dish towels and the 2 left need to be replaced.

Beautiful, spacious condo in a lovely area
This is a beautiful spacious condo in a lovely forested area. The unit was very well equipped with comfortable beds and furniture and complete kitchen with full equipment and a washer and drier. The wifi worked well; it is the best around being provided by the local telephone company, so it is slow. We picked this unit specifically because it had only one flight of 16 stairs. Other units in this complex had up to four flights of stairs--hard for people with limited mobility. We were limited in our activities because the surrounding national forest was closed due to forest staff limitations during the California wildfires. But we enjoyed the peace and quiet. There were a few thing that needed attention. We had no information packet when we arrived and no specific information about leaving (what to do about trash, dishes, towels and linens). Two of the bedroom screens had holes and need to be replaced. The barbecue had no gas, the igniter appeared not to work. The landlines telephone was disconnected. These are small matters, however in an otherwise pleasant stay. People should know that there is really no food service or groceries within 30 minutes of here so people must plan accordingly. The nearest real supermarket is an hour away.

Lakeshore condo rental - summer 2021 rental
This home has no AC, but had fans for use on warm nights, plenty of towels, and was clean. The smell of the forest fire smoke is still present, so we opened windows. Parking was plentiful, but sadly people were not considerate. Saturday night, in the parking area, we had people talk for a half an hour, at midnight. Sunday night there was a party, two buildings away, that we heard. The trees around the north side of Huntington Lake are still there. The High Sierra days were beautiful and filled with lakeshore swimming and sailing, just like any other summer in the past. Retail services are gone for this summer, only one small restaurant at the west end of the lake.

Rundown- Needs some TLC
We have stayed at multiple places over the years at the Lake. This Condo needs some TLC. Only 3 of the burners work- if you are renting a condo for 9 people, don't you think the stove should work properly.. The mattresses in the 3rd bedroom are like rocks. Would not suggest any Adult stay in that bedroom. The downstairs bed was made up with no sheets, just a mattress pad that we ended up sleeping on. Lastly, the pots/pans and kitchen equipment could use attention . The plastic stainer that costs probably $5 has a huge hole in the bottom, making is useless for draining spaghetti. Oh, and the internet was spotty, then stopped working. Sign on modem says" Do not unplug or you will lose your internet privileges for the remainder of your stay ". C'Mon, whats the first thing we all do at home when the internet isn't working. We reset the modem. by UNPLUGGING IT !! . Called customer service and asked them to call back on the phone number I was calling from, as the phone number used when making the reservation wasn't working ( no reception for T-Mobile) . We never got a call back. Not a big deal since it was our last night. Just wanted to get a quick review of any urgent emails before we headed home. I did have a voice mail from customer service once we got down the hill on my cell phone that wasn't working at the Lake. Al in all we had a good time, just wont stay in this condo again . Too rundown . I'll be surprised if VACASA posts this .

Cozy home!
We’ve stayed in various condos at Huntington Lake over the years. This was our first stay in an Eagle’s Landing condo. The kitchen is really tight, but we thought it was worth it for most of the condo being on one level so our group actually felt like we were all together! As per usual, the kitchen wares are a collection of scratched non-stick pots and pans (although it was better pans than in most of the condos)- we bring our own pans for this reason. The couch was comfortable, the table had enough chairs, the deck tight but workable for 6 of us. Everything except one burner in the stove worked, so that was great (even the wi-fi)!The beds are really firm and could be improved with a mattress topper. That is the only reason I didn’t give this condo 5 stars.

A great place to stay
The floor plan for this condo is great! I was the only person staying in it, and there was a bedroom close to the kitchen, so I had everything I needed close by. I didn't have to go to a different level to get to the bedroom or bathroom. There is a little wear and tear, such as a portion of the linoleum kitchen counter that looks like it broke off and was glued back in place. I'd like to stay there again!

Good location, close to the lake
Pros: Great walking distance to Huntington Lake shoreline Amazing scenery all around No issues with checking in Or out House was clean Close proximity to Rancheria Falls Cons: Parking issue. The “two designated” parking spots was taken on the second day so we parked in an unmarked spot. One of the neighbors was pounding on our door and asked us to move. We did not move and told her that spot is not marked so she threatened to call the property manager. I called Vacasa and emailed them as well but I did not get a response until well after I checked out. There is one marked parking spot with the condo number. I believe the four unmarked spots in front of the condo is for guests. Same neighbor that was pounding at our door was partying very loud until 1 am in the morning. House is very outdated. Even a splash of new paint and decor would be enough to make it nice and modern. Slow response to my issue

Condo #68 Eagles Nest Huntington Lake
We love Huntington, it's our families happy place. We usually camp but the campground was closed this year. this is actually the first time I was disappointed with the cleanliness of our condo.. it seemed that staff intended to vacuum but didn't.. the floor was very dirty, cereal in the closet and under the chairs. The kitchen floor was absolutely gross. we actually took the mat out and poured hot water on it and washed it thoroughly before we left as we didn't want other s with kids crawling on that.. We definitly left it cleaner than we found it. We will not be choosing number 68 again. We come to Huntington every year and have for over 40 years. this is my first unfavorable review.

Great Condo
Condo was great, clean & a great location. Only issue , no instructions for the TV so not able to watch. But who wants to sit inside watching TV when you can relax with a glass of you choice on the deck surrounded by the beautiful scenery. Had a great time.
