Our stay, during a hurricane admittedly, was both good and bad. The "good" is that this is a nice location, the beds were very nice and very comfortable, the showers were decent, and the AC worked well. The "bad" is that there was no microwave and no grill, a very small tight kitchen that is dark and hard to work in, no powder room (just a bathroom hidden back by the downstairs bedroom), and--probably 99% responsible for my moderate overall 3 star review-- we had an unwanted guest,: a rat. There were noises in the walls of the downstairs bedroom as well (probably mice or rats). Keep in mind this was a hurricane. I have no idea if the rodents were simply driven in by the rain/wind, or if they were already guests. Anthony was responsive and offered a free additional night's stay at a different home, which was appreciated, but we decided to just get back to our own home. Overall, I think the place is OK and it has its nice factors (as mentioned), but it definitely could use a microwave, a grill, and a careful look by pest control. I suspect and trust that the owner is on this for future guests.
