"We had a phenomenal stay at the Mai Tai. Not only were the views incredible; the room super romantic (with a very cool outdoor tropical shower); and the location perfect for exploring the Great Barrier Reef, Mossman Gorge, and the Daintree Rainforest; Andre (the host) was so warm and welcoming that we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a serene and romantic stay in the most gorgeous rainforest location."

"We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas....

"Daintree Crocodylus are very clear in what they are and what they are not. We found their advice to be very accurate. Yes, they are "very JUNGLY" and that was great for us. My two kids had a great time and really enjoyed being in the rain forest with all the sounds. We met lots of great people in the communal area. "Wonderful location right in the heart of the rainforest & the property is well-maintained with amazing views across the whole area. The owner, Robbie, was very welcoming & friendly, there if you needed him & also gave you the freedom to wander around his property. We were served a wonderfully cooked & well presented breakfast.
