"It was very clean and the staff was nice. The view of the river was nice. The room was very small considering I had paid for a suite. The mattress slid around on the bedframe. I kept having to fix it. There is very little counter space in the bathroom. I had to leave all of my toiletries on the dresser and only bring in a few items at a time as I was using them. Also very few outlets to use for charging. I feel like I overpaid for what I got."

"My family travels to Lake Toxaway once a year and we love the area. It was our first time to Casa de Yayo. The house itself is great. And the view of the lake is spectacular. The house was not clean (Vacasa offered to come and clean, however we did not want the disruption since we had just arrived). The house could use an instruction book covering things like light switch system, overriding the programs on the thermostats, how to use the sound system, etc. We thought it could be stocked better...
