"Every year our family likes to rent a different cabin for Fall break, and my kids said this was the favorite one we have stayed at so far! The location is so dreamy being right on the lake and the views from the cabin are stunning! Tara was a great host and got back to me on several questions I had during our stay. "We had 9 ladies, we do an annual girlfriend weekend and this year we wanted a low key weekend. This little slice of heaven on the lake did not disappoint. Beautiful views, quiet location, more than enough room to spread out and relax. The owners responded quickly to any communication, the home was clean and well maintained. The towels and beds were clean. This was a perfect place for a little getaway up north. Close to restaurants and shopping as well. "

"Our group (four adults, five kids) had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The kids adored sleeping in the loft, playing plenty of games, and having their own space for movie nights. The grown ups enjoyed it all, but especially catching up while taking in the gorgeous lake views. Thanks to Tracey for being a great host!"

Tried to contact owner for departure instructions and they never answered so we just did what most vrbo renters have asked. Also, instructions regarding entry need updating. Talks about turning something but it is digital and you need to hit the lock symbol. Also, we brought steaks for the bbq seen in photo. It is a pellet stove. "We came up for a wedding and fall colors and had such a great time! The cabin is super cozy and very obviously well cared for. The master suite makes it a perfect getaway for a couple and the bunk house would be an awesome spot for older kids to sleep! We loved enjoying the lake, large patio and amazing sauna while also enjoying all of the close by parks and downtown nisswa and Pequot lakes.
