Peace and quiet in a gorgeous mountain and lake setting. Four bedroom home inside the gates of Rumbling Bald Resort at Lake Lure. Our home is located on Bald Mountain Lake. Private dock with 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards. Lifejackets are provided. Two large lake facing decks are perfect for relaxing. Two bedrooms with queen beds on the main floor with shared full bath. Loft bedroom upstairs with king size bed and private bath. Secondary family room, game room, and bunk room with four twins on lower level. Parking for 3-4 cars including one carport space. Washer and dryer in downstairs utility room along with secondary fridge. Wireless fiber internet. Kitchen includes keurig coffee maker, blender, crock pot and toaster. TVs in both family rooms and upstairs bedroom with streaming services available. Check out golf, lake, spa, pools and other amenities available at the resort at rumblingbald.com.

Great Lake Front Property
We were 2 couples getting away for a long weekend and this place got the bill perfectly. Right on the lake with a private dock, kayaks, standup paddle boards, a fantastic deck with a grill and fire pit. The interior had plenty of space for the 4 of us with ample sitting space and comfortable beds. There were multiple levels so also offers space to be to yourself when with a group. Christy was great with communication. Checkin process was easy and well described. She even arranged for us to have passes to the resort entities. We would definitely return.

Sweet Escape to the Lake
A lot of TLC went into this property! It blends a traditional lake house feel with contemporary upgrades for a beautiful interior aesthetic. We loved being able to seat everybody at the dining table and hanging out together on the upper deck. The Solo firepit was amazing! At the same time, we had plenty of space to spread out. I was concerned that the upper loft might be noisy, but there are heavy curtains and a fabulous ceiling fan that keep it quiet and private. A beautiful and calming place to escape to! The highlight is, of course, being right on the lake. We were pleasantly surprised to see a floating mat that we could unroll off the dock, and the kids spent many hours playing. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out several times to explore.

Our group of 8 really enjoyed this location and the beautiful view of the lake. The house had nice size deck with fire pit on it. The sunrises and sunsets were great! The loft has king size bed with small bathroom. Main floor had 2 bedrooms with queen beds and small bathroom to share. Main floor also had great kitchen and living room area with everything you need to fee everyone. Lower level had large family room also with small room with 4bunk beds. There was also bathroom on this level. We did a little fishing on the small dock on the property and also used the Kayaks that were provided. which was very enjoyable. Loved the house and all its retro lake house charm. Will consider staying again..:)

Amazing location and view
This is an older house that has been partially renovated. It is charming and had plenty of room for all of us. Other renters may want to know that the bathrooms are older, and the bunk room is in the basement. To get to it, you must go through a bathroom and a utility room. This wasn't an issue for us, but might be for small children. There are also a lot of stairs down to the water. Overall, though, we really enjoyed the house, the amazing lake view, the games provided, the kayaks and the fire pit. The beds were comfortable and the A/C in the loft kept it plenty cool. We would return!

Family get together
We had 8 adults and really enjoyed our stay. The ability to have your own spot at the lake was awesome. They also offer kayaks and paddle boards which was a great bonus. There are a lot of stairs to the water just an fyi. We also did not realize the two Queen bedrooms that share a bathroom was pretty open. However they made it work. Overall a great spot that we enjoyed!
