The Firefly Escape condo is nestled inside the coveted Firefly Cove gated community with direct access to Chimney Rock State Park. Featuring a king-size bed with a full en suite bathroom, the condominium is appointed with high end but comfortable furnishings, a fully stocked kitchen, bedding and multiple HDTVs. Inside the lodge you’ll find a spacious gathering room with fireplace and large TV, a billiards room complete with kitchen for ease of entertaining, and cozy sitting nooks for reading or enjoying a moment of solitude.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The property was very clean, well decorated and very cozy. The host was very responsive to our needs and we had a wonderful time. We will be back!

Great getaway
The perfect place to escape from work at the hospital…such a peaceful and beautiful location! We enjoyed the pool and kayaking on the lake. The condominium had everything we needed including a well stocked kitchen. The property manager was helpful. We also rented a pontoon from Lake Lure Adventures to be on the lake at sunset; that was lovely. We hope to come back for another visit sometime in the near future!

Nice property, clean, spacious. Mold issue in shower. Invest in a smart TV so people can stream. Also opt for a larger screen. They are not expensive.

Lake Lure cove Condo
Firefly Cove is a private upscale community in the busy and crowded Chimney Rock/ Lake Lure area with a very nice outdoor pool and fitness center and pretty water views. The condo unit itself was spacious and comfortable with a very nice king bed and bath. The TV was a bit small given the space available and the roomy covered porches could have used an overhead fan. There was a substantial delay to get into the unit but that was more than compensated for by a late check out. The required condo association forms could have been emailed well in advance so that those of us who are less technologically gifted would not have to struggle to complete them. Theses are nitpicks since 121 Firefly Cove was a great, relaxing place to have a swim and a glass of wine on the porch after a day of hiking in the mountains.

Couples Getaway:[
The property was a quiet getaway as listed but it does need updating and is not a typical vacation spot unless you like being the only vacationer there. We were "greeted" the first evening while we were out for a walk admiring the beautiful home and the view of the lake by one of the condo owner. While having a conversation with him about how nice and well maintained the small neighborhood was he informed us that it was because everyone owned their homes and the only rental was the one condo unit we were in and one other that no one was renting at the time. He told us that that none of the neighbors are happy about the fact that there are people renting these properties all year round. It was a very nice welcome and I hope you enjoy your stay(sarcasm intended)!! The rest of our stay just seemed awkward because you wonder if people are staring out their windows at you whenever you're at the poor or just taking a walk. Needless to say, we left early!

Hidden Gem
Fantastic rental! Very clean unit inside a wonderful community! If you are looking for a quiet relaxing getaway this is your place! We usually had the pool to ourself! We also took advantage of the community kayaks to get our on the water. Very quick communication with owners when we had questions!
