This home was a little gem for our family, it offered the perfect get away. It was quiet, beautiful sunsets. Our kids loved fishing of the doc. The location was great! The hosts were sweet and easy to communicate with. We are looking forward to next summer already.
The property is exactly as advertised! Beautiful lake front property with amazing sunsets. There is plenty to do and see in the area. It was a great family vacation!
Toured Houghton to Eagle River to Cooper Harbor and places in between. This home on the lake was the perfect place to stay while enjoying the fall colors.
This is a great house for anyone. Lake is beautiful. Location was perfect. I would highly recommend this place. Well maintained and is in great condition. Thanks for the stay
We stayed here during the fall color tour that we as a family of 3 take every year to the U.P. This place is awesome! It’s cozy, clean and it really was a home away from home. The drive around the lake may take a little time, but relax and enjoy the scenery because this place is worth it.
We loved our stay at this property! Very nice place, ultra comfortable and nice and quiet. Timm and Becky are great hosts and they provide everything you could need. The location was ideal for the adventures we had planned and close enough to restaurants and businesses for convenience. We highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit this area of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula!!
This is a fantastic little cottage that was perfect for our needs. Helped move our son into MTU and decided to make a mini vacation out of it. The cottage is super comfortable with a large bathroom with huge walk in shower, laundry, comfy beds, just great !
I caught 5 fish off the beautiful large dock including a really nice pike. Only thing I found myself wanting for was a fishing boat or pontoon to rent.
If you want utter peace and solitude in the most beautiful part of Michigan look no further.
Beautiful home on a beautiful lake. The kitchen is large with lots of counter space. The bathroom is also spacious, especially that walk in shower! All the beds were comfy too. There is a very nice secluded beach only a short drive away (White City).

Amazing property
This property looked even better than the pictures ! Beautifully maintained and well stocked. It took us 45 minutes to get there from Houghton due to inclement weather which was not ideal. I was under the impression that it was going to be closer to Michigan Tech.
We came to town for a wedding, and thought we'd rent a home versus a hotel room. Very nice home, very clean and you can't beat the lake view. The owner Timm was very accommodating as well.
My best friend and I needed a quick weekend getaway, it was just what we needed. We even stayed an extra night and they were so swift to accommodate our request. Kayaks were great, lake was great. We’ll be back!
Inside of the cabin was beautiful and spacious. Everything we needed was there. Really enjoyed kayaking. Wish they would have been more communicative, they did not reach out until the day before our stay which made me nervous
peaceful, quiet, enjoyed meals and downtime on the fantastic deck. Sunsets are beautiful and tranquil. Appreciated use of the kayaks. Property is well taken care of and clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and using it as a basecamp to explore other areas of the Peninsula. We will be back.
