"Unit had not been cleaned upon our arrival but owner was quick to respond, apologetic, remedied the cleaning problem and even offered to comp our dinner at a restaurant that evening which I declined. It was a perfect venue for an extended family with small children. Took great photos of the northern lights over the bay and my 34 year old daughter and her husband took a cold plunges in the lake after using the sauna."

"We celebrated our anniversary with a weekend getaway at this cottage. It's small, but perfect for two people. Very clean and cozy, with a beautiful view of Lake Leelanau. Great location to visit wineries on the Leelanau Peninsula, close to restaurants, hiking trails, dunes, etc. And our hosts were lovely. We would stay again! "

"The website does an accurate job of capturing the views over the West Arm of Grand Traverse Bay. The house appears to have been recently updated and is well done. Plenty of space for a couple. Also, perfectly located. Easy to scoot down into Traverse City, but also up to wineries and towns on Leelanau peninsula. The management company was communicative and easy to contact. Would recommend and I would go back. Two small gripes. One, when we arrived, fruit flies everywhere. I think it is an issue of the area as we saw them all over the place (many vineyards and orchards after all). But the house itself was very clean. No food or garbage to attract them. We just set out some vinegar bowls/traps and problem solved. The second is a common issue to every VRBO I have ever rented that advertises a grill being available on site. I have never found them to be useable without spending a considerable amount of time cleaning the grill body and crates. I mean the thing looked like it had been used for several summers and never once been cleaned. If houses on VRBO are going to advertise grills, I think grills should be inspected and cleaned, if needed, just as if they were part of the kitchen. "

"This was our first time staying in the Cozy Cabin, but our second time on the property. The cabins are beautifully decorated, fully stocked, and very clean. The property is especially gorgeous this time of year with all of the fall color. Communication with the owners is great. Beth responded to an issue we had immediately. We can't wait to come back a third time!"

"This property is beautiful! Well kept and modern finishes. Six bedrooms with comfortable beds & linens. Three nicely finished bathrooms. Modern, well-stocked kitchen with beautiful appliances. Large dining room. Two fireplaces. Several areas for gathering, plenty of seating inside and outside. Very nice fire pit. Gas grill. One big-screen TV in second living room. Amazing views. Communication with owner was superb. Highly recommend this lovely lakefront home!"
