Terrible pillows, I can't understand why people invest a lot of money into properties but neglect the provide the essentials for a good sleep - good pillows.
Excessive light into the room at night, property flooded with outside lights all night that shine into the room. Room lacks curtains to block the light at night, so you get a lot of light all night.
Couldn't sleep
My spouse and I stayed for the weekend for our wedding anniversary and we were in awww with the property. So beautiful and comfortable. The owners are super nice and I just love how she tells the story of the history of the home and surrounding town. The room was more than amazing with its own bathroom with a jet tub and balcony
We didn’t get to experience any of the amenities such as their Tavern bar they promote nor were they serving breakfast due to electrical issues which is understandable. But we will definitely be back hopefully then we can experience all The Ann Stevens House has to offer

It’s an old estate near the Casadega spiritual enclave. The house is gorgeous inside and retired. The outside needs TLC. Closest dining is inDeland, 7 miles away
The Ann Stevens House was everything you could wish for in Old Florida. Huge camphor trees draped in Spanish moss surround the picturesque house and grounds. I was greeted by a very gracious host and two plump, friendly, orange cats. Inside, my room was fully-appointed. The linens were to die for. The house is only minutes from Cassadaga Spiritualist camp.
Loved our hostess! She was very informative and welcoming. Too bad no breakfast due to COVID. Would have enjoyed some bottled water. The room was beautiful and the property spectacular.
The property is beautiful and our room (deluxe king) was lovely; our private porch excellent.
The only problem was that there is no clear check-in procedure, no sign indicating where/how to get key. One is supposed to call the proprietor, but we did not have the number and would not have known that without the assistance of another guest
Loved the location and setting. It had lots of trees and plants. We loved the porch with the rocking chairs too. The bed was pretty comfortable and it was nice to have a refrigerator in our room that made storing our leftovers from dinner easy. We will definitely come back and stay should the opportunity arise.
Love the old charm for the room. I appreciate the room being cleaned each day. The Kurig was a nice touch. Oh, I stopped and picked up a couple small travel sized cereals and I noticed a bowl placed in my room the following day, thank you for noticing and the little details were appreciated.
I was greeted by the owner and given a tour of the property. She gave me a great tour with lots of information about the history of the area and the property itself. The room I stayed in was well appointed. It was a big space and very comfortable. I had a very nice porch to sit out on and listen to nature in the evening.
