Great Location and View
Pros: -Really Nice Inside. Very Clean and decorated well. Carpet is “super thick n soft” (as my daughter put it). The unit has a washer n dryer. TV’s with cable in all the rooms. Living room TV has surround sound but never got that to work, more on that later. Kitchen is really nice. Dining room table by the patio window makes for a really nice spot to eat and look at the views. Bedding was really soft and the pillows were as well. Unit was always really cool since the AC was set at 70. Thank you! Cons: -Mattress in Master Bedroom is really uncomfortable. Both myself and my fiancé’ woke up sore every morning. Drop 5-600$ and get a memory foam. After a day on the lake you need somewhere comfortable to sleep. -Not a fan of the ring camera on the back porch. I understand why it’s there but not a fan. Misc: (Not Cons-Just Things to mention) Other than that, had a communication issue with the owner on a few different levels. First was check in is 4pm. Usually that’s not a hard line thing so if you show up 45 mins early it’s usually not an issue. Wasn’t able to access the unit. Owner texted me saying “ Check-in is 4:00p.m. or later. It is 3:13p.m.” I was aware of what time it was, I’ve got my phone and my watch that tell me that. (Just came across a little condescending.) He did allow us to access the unit about 5 mins later which was cool of him. He told me in the future to let him know if we would be early, which makes sense. Will do if I rent from him again. The other thing I wanted to mention was, I texted asking about getting the surround sound to work with the TV. His response was “ The volume up automatic controls that function. Nothing should have been touched with receiver or anything. “ Once again, another text that came off kinda rude. To his credit he called me and explained what he was trying to convey and didn’t mean to come across that way. I texted him later to ask for help setting it up and never heard back. View of London Bridge and the lake are great. There’sa part of the channel that’s obstructed due to the lower units being there. Overall it was a really nice stay. I would recommend it and would rent from him again. The only issue I think needs to get resolved is the bed in the master bedroom. Then again, Different strokes ya know? Maybe others will like that kinda bed. Oh and upgrade the cookware, get some more glasses to drink out. We left a salt n pepper shaker because there was none.

1 OF THE WORST RENTALS
Check in time is 4:00 (typically 3:00 in all other KINGSVIEW Condos) Manager (Kevin Carmoma) was still cleaning the condo and waiting for the sheets to dry until 4:45!! We had to sit on the couch and wait (it was 112* that day) He left with multiple things untouched (maybe cause I was furious). Microwave hadn’t been cleaned, mirrors in both bedrooms hadn’t been cleaned, sand all over master bathroom. He left us with 3/4 of a roll of paper towels (no backup, we had to buy our own) NO dishwasher soap (we had to buy) to clean dishes, NO clean kitchen sponges. They were all USED and smelled GROSS! NO shower soap, NO shower shampoo/conditioner;etc. We had to use our shampoo (which we always bring) to wash our body. The kitchen….oh Lordy! Only 3 tall drinking glasses, no true dinner plates, only salad plates. Mix and match everything. Refrigerator stopped working after we put our food away. Manager had to come “reset” the fridge. Couch Ottoman in living (as shown in photos) is gone. I think I’ll stop, you all get the point. Hope this owner and manger can get this place up to par. We love the KINGSVIEW Condos and stay there 5-6 times every summer.
