"Very late arrival but our room was clean and ready. Bad weather in our area and we requested a delayed checkout. They allowed us to stay until noon without a few, which was very kind. The lady who worked in the breakfast nook was super nice and made sure there was enough food and supplies for everyone. Room was a little cold when we arrived but soon warmed up after we turned on the heater. Beds and shower were average but on this visit we just needed a clean bed and shower."

"We had a peaceful extended weekend getaway at this property. The cottage was exactly as pictured and described. The location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. We spent a lot of time on the deck, watching the Muskegon River and listening to the song birds. We even heard a Barred Owl and saw some loons and a few deer. I also enjoyed the surrounding area. I took my dogs for a walk each morning along the dirt roads surrounding the property. There was very little traffic and lots of interesting smells for them to sniff. They thoroughly enjoyed their time at the cottage. Robert, the host, was very responsive to all of my questions before the trip and upon arrival. He was incredibly friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing nature retreat, no matter the season. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful location with us."
