"Liked the location, close to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Cabin was cozy and warm with snow shoeing trails nearby. Hosts were responsive and friendly. Didn’t like the bathroom faucet, had to hold handle in order to get water, needs updating. Felt kitchen was lacking a few amenities that all other places have provided (toaster, salt and pepper). "

"The house was a little smaller than I expected but easily accommodated all 8 of us. Everything we needed was there and house rules/instructions were clear. I gave 4 stars because the shower handle in the master broke the second day. The owner clearly stated that it was difficult and I guess it finally broke. We managed with all of us just more shower planning. All in all it was a nice place to stay. "

"This rental was our "home base" during a ski trip to Whiteface (only a few minute drive from the mountain). Everything about this property is well thought out and makes you feel like you're at "home away from home." Owners were available to answer questions beforehand and even popped over during our stay when we had an issue with one of the circuit breakers. Would give more than 5 stars if I could! My entire family loved it and can't wait to return! Still talking about it a month later!"

"This was the first stay at the Cabins at Colby Lake for myself and a group of friends. I rented the Moose Cabin and loved it! I heard about this place from good friends who had stayed here a couple of years ago. We got in Thursday night for a 4 night stay, with skiing, Carnival fun in Saranac with the Parade, live music, the ice castle, and fireworks. We had camp fires lake side at night and wrapped the weekend with a Superbowl party! All in all a great winter trip. Would love to come back in...

"We very much enjoyed our stay at this cabin located in Tupper Lake in the Adirondacks. I stayed there with my good friend, her husband, and their teenage son. We had plenty of room to spread out while we weren't out and about the area. The location was in a nice quiet area near the main drag, and was close enough to make separate day trips to both Lake Saranac and Lake Placid. Not knowing the area, this was a good first place to stay, and would definitely return to the Adironacks again."

While it was snowing pretty steadily when we arrived, the walkway was shoveled and we had immediate contact from Jason to help us park in the right place since the snowbanks hid all the signs! "This was the perfect cozy cabin for our winter vacation. It is perfect if you love a private peaceful scene in the woods. About 30 minutes from towns. Very comfortable, and the Mary is incredibly responsive and helpful. We went to towns, ice fishing on the private lake, had ourselves a day catching so many perch, and relaxed by the fire inside. Highly recommend if you like the quietness of the woods and being outdoors as lots of trails and hikes to do as well!"

The kitchen had all appliances, silverware, plates, pots that one might need and the location was close to a lot of good hiking and the VIC. It was great to have the kayaks and dock on the property -- Lake Clear Outlet is very peaceful without a lot of houses and the current/wind is more manageable than when you kayak on a big lake. We had one small problem with the diverter not working in the shower in the morning but...
