Lake Bennett is a peaceful and private resort community. In consideration of all guests and residents, parties, excessive noise, and pets are not permitted, as per Body Corporate policy.
A minimum 2-night stay is required for all bookings.
Things to Do During Your Stay
Unwind and reconnect with nature at your own pace. Soak up the sun, take a refreshing swim, cast a line for some lakeside fishing, or head out on a peaceful paddle using the complimentary canoes and kayaks. The lake is teeming with birdlife and blanketed with stunning water lilies—perfect for photography or simply admiring the view.
The Lake House is also the perfect launchpad for exploring the Top End’s iconic attractions. Take a day trip to Kakadu, Litchfield, or Nitmiluk National Parks, cool off at Manton Dam, or dive into local history at the Adelaide River War Cemetery, Railway Heritage Precinct, and the township of Batchelor.
Important Guidelines
Lake Bennett is a peaceful retreat designed for relaxation and quality time with family and friends. It’s not a venue for parties or large gatherings.
To maintain the tranquility of the area and respect our neighbours, parties and loud events are strictly prohibited. If a large gathering is held at the property, your group may be asked to leave immediately.
There are other venues better suited to events—thank you for helping us keep Lake Bennett a quiet and restful escape for everyone.
What to Bring
The Lake House has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including fresh bed linen and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, large fridge, crockery, cutlery, cookware, and a Nespresso coffee machine.
All you need to bring are:
Your own food and drinks
Bottled water
Towels for swimming and showering
Pack light—everything else is ready and waiting for you!
Liability Waiver – Canoes, Kayaks & Life Jackets.
The $20 hire fee for canoes, kayaks, and life jackets is included in your Bungalow rental.
Life jackets must be worn at all times when using the canoes or kayaks. Children under 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian, who is fully responsible for their safety.
Guests are responsible for all equipment provided. Any loss or damage must be paid for by the hirer.
By using the equipment, guests acknowledge and accept full responsibility for their own safety and that of others in their group, and accept all associated risks.

By choosing to swim or use the kayaks during your stay, you acknowledge that you are doing so at your own risk and accept full responsibility for any injury or accident that may occur.

Children must be closely supervised at all times around the water.
Swimming or kayaking can be dangerous for individuals with certain health conditions, during pregnancy, or when under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication.
By using these facilities, you agree to take full responsibility for your own safety and the safety of those in your group, and to accept all associated risks.
