Two private elevators to go up and down from the lobby. Resort offers amenities such as heated swimming pool and jacuzzi, as well as access to the lake. Also offered is restaurant with catering to your front door. The apartment has a beautiful panoramic view to the gardens, pool, lake and volcanos. It’s a 5 minute walk away from attractions such as Xtreme Zipline and a butterfly sanctuary, and a 10 minute walk from town along a protected nature reserve path. Private deck offered in front of Resort on Lake Atitlan for boat boarding. Moto taxi pickups and drops to and from town for one dollar. Don’t settle for less.. don’t pay for one room when you can have a Resort for the same price as a small suite in an old or faraway hotel. Ok

Property was nice for what it was amazing view. However the owner can quicky turn violent. I simply askes why an extra night cost so much as it as more than double the price for one night, instead of a answer the response was verbal abused and ended with me getting threatened and i was kicked out the apartment with only 1 night out of the 5 nights originally booked.

Property location very nice. La Rivera de Atitlan, MISLEADING, NO ACCESS TO SAUNA, BOAT RENTAL ONLY PASSES FOR HOTEL GUESTS. They did not provide clean towels and towels provided stank badly, DEAD ROACHES ON BED COVERS, very dusty, no WIFI, no laundry, the shower knob did not work,

Consider other options before renting this place
I really appreciated that the administrator accommodated check-in time for us for a time later than listed and her quick replies to inquiries. Throughout our stay, we discovered a number of disappointing issues and realized this place is poorly maintained. Even though the listing says that the unit comes with a washer and a dryer, it really doesn’t. I had to show the administrator the Vrbo listing for her to grant me access to the stackable washer/dryer that takes 4 times the time you expect to dry a load of clothes There was no light bulb in the kitchen. We borrowed a light bulb from one of the bedroom lamps, which smoked when we turned it on. Another used bulb was quickly provided when I asked for a replacement bulb though. First Vrbo property that we have stayed at and does not provide basic toiletries. You need to bring your own shampoo AND extra toilet paper. It did not have coffee or sugar or any drinking water. The place does not have hot water. It has some electric heaters in both showers. The master bedroom shower has colder than lukewarm water and you cannot use the second shower at all. The lever to close the bottom faucet is broken. The description mentions $1 rides to town. We paid Q10 per person per ride which makes it a about $2.75 every ride. The furniture is not comfortable. One of the bed spreads had holes in it and some pillow casas are ragged. One of the counter tiles fell on the floor when I pulled my purse.

Room was full of bugs everywhere, shower heads kept falling apart every time you took one, toilets needed to be flushed in order to get rid of waist no screens on windows for ventilation so you can’t open windows or else bugs would come in. Place needs to be taken care of and have candles as there was a power outage when we arrived, text owner and he suggested for us to to the lake and look at the stars really! Very disappointed

Carlos was great and helpful. He texted us throughout our arrival day to make sure everything was on schedule and even made accommodations for us to get into apartment since we were running late. From the moment we arrived to the time we left - we were in safe hands. The host and the hotel staff were professional and prompt, providing any support we needed (from transport to potable water to advice on where to visit). The pool and location were an oasis after a day of exploring local villages by boat, chicken bus or tuk tuk. The location was perfect - close enough to town to pop in for supplies and yet far enough away to provide a tranquil and relaxing environment. Carlos (owner) and Juan Carlos (hotel staff) were so incredibly kind to us during our stay. We will definitely be coming back! Muchisimas gracias para todo <3

Stellar location!
We stayed two months and loved it. The apartment has a gorgeous view and plenty of space. We enjoyed the location as it was quiet and peaceful after our days spent on launches and walking around the various pueblos of the lake. When one is long term it is nice to have creature comforts. Furniture was comfy, kitchen well stocked, and the pool and hot tubs a bonus. We walked to town daily from here (only a mile). Best of all the owner, Oscar, responded quickly to our questions and addressed concerns immediately. We would love to return again.

Nice with a beautiful view!
The property was great, it had most everything we needed. If there was anything we needed the owner Mr. Jimenez always found a way to provide it. He was also always available to answer my questions and was very friendly. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that while the hotel that is kind of sharing a lobby area with this apartment let us utilize the swimming pool, they would not let us use any of the games or kayaks that they had. No one was using them at the time, and surprisingly they wouldn't let us rent them either, always saying that they were for their guests only. This was also the case with their wifi, which the apartment does not have. That being said, as long as you go there knowing this, we had a great time and enjoyed the apartment a lot!

Nice apartment just outside of Panajachel....Easy to walk to town-20 min. Nice views. Pool and hot tub were the only available amenities if you weren't staying at the hotel next door. Pool was unusable for about five days because it was green in color. No Wi-Fi in apartment. Could not use hotels Wi-Fi. Apartment needs a broom and hot water. One shower unusable due to leak. Owner very nice and responsive.
