This place was so cute and well appointed. The host was wonderful and helped make our stay very comfortable. It was super easy to get to Interlochen from this quiet location. I wish I had found it earlier!

I would highly recommend this property in Lake Ann! Barb takes immaculate care of every detail and it’s very generously supplied with amenities. The location is so great for the Traverse City and surrounding areas. We would definitely stay here again!

Cozy Loft!
We had a great stay at Barb's Loft! It's a very clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and well-equipped place and it was close to Interlochen Center where our kids were at camp!

Our stay was wonderful! The owner was very welcoming and shared the information that only “locals” know about the area. This was a great help planning our adventures. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the weak and intermittent Wi-Fi. Wasn’t able to get any work done which may have been a blessing in disguise - more time to play! I would highly recommend a stay at the Lake Ann Loft.

Perfect Loft
Barb’s Loft is a lovely place for a getaway. Clean and well equipped. Short drive to many beautiful locations. This was a return visit for us and we certainly will return! Barb is a wonderful host!

Lovely loft
I stayed here while attending a choir camp at Interlochen which is an easy 10 to 15 minute drive from the loft. I was very comfortable here. Pretty much everything I could need was provided. Beautiful gardens to look at, cute dogs to pet. I would happily stay here again.

Lovely Loft!
The grounds are beautiful. Surrounded by flowers and woods. The decor in the loft is so inviting. Makes you want to curl up with a good book. I slept like a baby in the comfy bed. This accommodation is so charming, quiet and comfortable. I would stay here again without a doubt.

Adorable and cozy loft
The loft was very comfortable and clean. Barb thought of everything! We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the small town location. We walked just steps away to enjoy live music and ice cream. Make sure to bring bottled drinking water. Will definitely stay again!

Perfect place to visit with family in Lake Ann. Great host, Comfy bed, fully stocked kitchen, refrigerator stocked with drinks. Nice neighborhood in the countryside, near the Lake and walk to village grocery. Short distance to hiking trails: LakeAnnPathway, Bellows & Ranson lake trails. Needs TV instructions. Highly recommended

Barb was very accommodating to a need for a large salad bowl for a party we were attending and had many quality coffee, tea and water options. Well stocked kitchen included butter and olive oil too. Unique, attractive furnishings and original art decor.

A couple things we didn't t realize...bed was double, probably something I missed on the website. Also property on a major road with truchmk traffic as early as 6:00 am daily. Nothing that would keep me from going back. Barbara was fantastic and rental was cute and comfortable. Not on the lake.

My husband and I stayed in the loft above the garage and were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. It was stocked with everything we could have wanted and the kitchen was well equipped. A short walk to the brewery and pizza restaurant in the cute town of Lake Ann and a short drive to Interlochen. The grounds of the house were lush and gorgeous and we were able to walk around it. We would definitely stay there if we visit again. The bed was a little hard to get into as it was nestled in between two walls so you had to get on to it from the foot of the bed. My husband and I had no problem but if you have movement issues you might find it hard to get into bed. Overall, this is a very nice place to stay.

Perfect for us!
The studio apt above the garage was exactly what we needed. It was well equipped, cute, and very comfortable with everything we could possibly need for our weeklong stay. Barb is incredibly kind and has the sweetest dog named Dash who liked to greet us every day when we returned. Barb's gardens are gorgeous and the location of her place was perfect for easily accessing everywhere we wanted to go. Highly recommend!

Stay with personality in the heart of North Country
Barb’s place is even better than it looks in oics. Very beautiful gardems of bright flowers greet you. The space is very generous in size. Location is right in heart of Lake Ann, so couldn’t be easier to walk to pizza or a true general store. It is easy to get to Sleeping Bear, Leelanau and Traverse City Barb had the winner of scret beaches. Great value.

We stayed three nights at The Loft at Lake Ann and it was the perfect spot for the two of us. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed was comfy and the water in the shower was hot!! Our host was very easy to communicate with if we needed anything, and she provided it very quickly. We would absolutely recommend this spot if you're visiting the area!!

Fantastic place!
This rental is quaint and surrounded by nature. The kitchen is fully equipped which we loved. Also loved walking up to the local grocery, using the firepit for smores and cozy adirondacks for early-morning reading. Bed and pillows are heaven! Thank you, Barb!
