"Had a lovely stay in Shiskine! The only thing I worried about was the proximity to the road but so few cars drove by, especially at night, that it is no problem at all. Peaceful and quiet. The tiny house/pod is just as promised in the pictures. I had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings of the lighthouse and of course all the beaches nearby. The beach below the property was basically a private one (in October), as I only saw a couple of other people once."

"This property was our favorite one on the trip. The beach was so close and the rooms nice and large. Having two bathrooms suited us perfectly and having a wash basin in each bedroom was incredibly convenient. Parking was right in front of the door. The kitchen even had sugar and some other items that we did not have to get. The traditional style was very homey. I would stay here again if in this area on a return visit."

Great B&B
"Great purpose built B&B. Greeted on arrival with a wee dram. Our view was to the back of the hotel but the views to the sea looked stunning. Guests have use of a lounge with sea views. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice including smoked salmon. Good car parking and easy walk into town for dinner, we ate at the Sea Shack. Highly recommend staying here."
