"This is a very beautiful hotel in a peaceful area east of Marrakech. The room was very comfortable and overlooked the large garden and pool. The staff are very kind and do their best to look after you. The owner appeared one night and offered me a glass of bourbon on the house. My only reservation is that there is no breakfast buffet and this could be due to there being only eight guest rooms. Also what is on offer is mostly bread and eggs. "Beautiful Riad, amazing AMAZING staff! Incredibly clean and so beautifully kept. Rooms were a good size, everything felt very traditional and special! Lots of food options and lovely roof top! About 20 minutes walk to the main square, out of the madness enough so have some leave but not too far that it’s a chore to walk to everything! Highly recommend - The staff made our stay, so efficient, kind and fabulous! "

"Gorgeous, relaxing stay at Kesali. The staff were super, very chilled atmosphere and breakfast was delicious. Room was really spacious and bed super comfy. Only slight negative is we could hear people in the room above when they were walking around (in what sounded like Dutch clogs!). Definitely have a massage - it was fantastic! "

"This is an amazing property. I traveled in Morocco for three weeks and had some rather challenging stays at Hotels and AirBnB's. This was my last night and I needed a place close to the airport. When I arrived it was spectacular and made me want to stay for longer. The gardens are incredible, the view form the deck is awesome, and the location is perfect! Highly recommended! Oh, also, the man who met me at the entrance was an excellent host and speaks great English. Super wonderful guy!"

"Riad Zara was a devine oasis. The staff were helpful, kind and friendly. The room was clean, with a magical quantity, making me feel like some sort of Moroccan prince. The old town can be a bit hetic, with the bustle of the souk at your doorstep. But upon entering Riad Zara it all disappeared, and i was wrapped in a blanket of colors and calm. I highly recommend Riad Zara for anyone who is looking for a touch of bohemian class in there visit to Marrakech. "

"We got rooms in third floor. No lift in the property. Service from staff was good. Breakfast is very good"

"Once we figured out the Medina, it was a really nice location. Small room, but enough for our little family (2 adults + a 5-year-old). No real views, but the terrace and rooftop were just outside our room which was wonderful. Super helpful and kind hosts. "

"We started our Morocco journey with this Riad. The thing about this particular property was that these guys made a special effort to introduce us to give us bite-sized introductions to Do's Dont of Morocco without any special prompting. Their welcome was special, making us comfortable by giving a tour of Riad was a great touch. They all were special people trying to make us feel special."

When I clicked the link to view it's location on the map, the address was Jnane Ben Chagra Souiqa 9, Marrakech, Marrakech, 40000, which is close to Hotel Oudaya that I had stayed before moving to the next hotel. "Only in town for one night but it was a great night! A beautiful, tastefully decorated Riad in a location that’s easy to get to popular spots. The fixtures are gorgeous, water was hot, and the room temp was perfect. The best part about the Riad is the staff. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. I wish I could’ve stayed longer! "

"Loved my stay at this property. Rooms are the cleanest I’ve experienced in Marrakech and staff is very friendly. I traveled for work and was able to use the WiFi. Traveling alone, I was able to walk around the area comfortably (made sure I’m back before 8PM). Food options are 5-10 min walk, also the riad provides delicious meal options. "

"Quiet and serene location. Excellent staff and service. We reached quite late and the staff were kind enough to prepare us some food and nice tea knowing that we have travelled quite far and were starving. Spa, pool, rooms and the dining area were amazing. "

"The property was very clean. Even though there was a foul smell on day one, the apartment was cleaned and the smell issue was addressed quickly. Our friends visited the apartment to spend an evening together. They were asked to submit their passports for record keeping. When questions were asked about data protection, the front desk person was unable to answer and felt irritated. Our guests felt uncomfortable during this conversation. Having said that, Abdul Malik at the front desk was brilliant...

Perfect location to explore Marrakech

"The location of the Riad is perfect. Only a few meters from.the main square so walking distance to all you want to see and do. Despite its central location, it is quiet. The Riad has been restored with amazing attention to detail of Moroccan craftsmanship. The Riad is clean. As it is a Riad, space restrictions apply with steep stair cases erc. The staff are very friendly and arranged pick up of bags from our transport (advise they send out a greeter to get you the first time as you will battle to find the Riad). I cannot find fault with this centrally located Riad as a vacation base to explore all Marrakesh offers."
