"Staff is great, on top of every detail. Property needs upgrade. It’s not like we expected it to be like its neighbor Jungle Lodge, but bathroom had some minor issues (odor, loose sink faucet), some room tiles were broken, and general appearance for the room could improve with minor upgrades in bed sheeting, decoration. Everything else was great, restaurant food quality is very good, service is great as well, location is superb. "

"We spend 2 nights in hostal part of jungle lodge hotel Even that location is in the middle of a jungle we didnt experienced anything in terms of mosquito's or other insects Grounds and common areas were kept clean and immaculate Friendly stuff Great delicious food at the hotel restaurant Lots of tours offered like sunset ,sunrise and archeological among many others Lots of birds to watch and ither friendly wildlife. The amazing staff (including the furry friends!) make this place even more special. This is a place we continue to day dream about and love to return to. Cannot recommend this place enough!"

"La Lancha is an amazing place to stay if you like nature. We enjoyed every minute during our stay. The staff is very accommodating and provides excellent customer service. We enjoyed the sauna (temascal), swam in the lake and the hotel crew helped us coordinate a boat sunset trip to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The sauna and boat is at an additional cost but is definitely worthy, They offer free continental breakfast and the food is good! We rented a car in Peten which gave us the freedom of enjoying the whole area. But if you just want to enjoy the hotel is a good option too, its very relaxing, there’s a swimming pool and a mirador with a beautiful the lake view.there’s a lot of stars and it’s tiresome sometimes to go up and down but it was part of the experience that made it unique.. we did not have to worry about working out lol!"

"This hotel habitually overbooks to earn extra money at the expens of tourists. However when everyone shows up theres shortage of rooms. I was forced to change rooms, bounced around like a ping pong.. Food was good. kitchen staff friendly..."
