"Had a great family holiday with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Rooms were great and very quiet with comfy beds. Great selection at buffet breakfast and so nice to sit by the aquarium. Kayaking, snorkeling, nature trails and lots of day tours as well as relaxing by the pool. Only fault is the menu for lunch and dinner. It didn’t change, even the specials, and we got bored of the food quite quickly. We also were stung with the fish we caught ourselves - $35/ea to cook it and only 2 of our 4 ate it....

"Palm Bay Resort, located in the stunning Whitsundays on Long Island, offers surreal views and a peaceful atmosphere. I recently spent 7 days there with my son and loved the convenient location, just a 15-minute water taxi ride from Airlie Beach. While the serene setting is perfect for relaxation, the lack of activities on the island made it less engaging for my active teenager. The food was excellent, but I was disappointed that housekeeping wasn’t done daily. This resort has great potential...

"We stayed in the bungalows. They were no frills but met our needs. We had a maintenance issue that took a couple of days to resolve but they did fix it. The staff was nice, a little frantic at times but fun. Definitely rent a cart (buggy) and make restaurant reservations in advance or there wont be any when you get there. The Wallaby's grazed just feet from our front porch. Once in a lifetime!!! "

"Lots for the kids to do and the staff were amazing and friendly. The only thing i would say is the lack of food optiona on site was the only negative and you need a car in order to get around with a family."
