"Two factors made our stay at this house so memorable: 1) The house sits on the beautiful island of Stegesund (no cars, only a small dirt road) that overlooks gorgeous water just outside of the town of Vaxholm. The July sun bathes the house in warm light all day long. You get the benefit of feeling away from the city while only being a 5 minute ferry/boat ride away from Vaxholm. "Th cabin itself is adorable. Nice location, but not too close to the water. Some amenities do not function as well as may be assumed. For example, the door to the sauna does not fully close from the inside. Overall the sauna is very below average. Also, the shower often does not have hot water. This is something to look out for. On the other hand, the fireplace is amazing. The kitchen has everything you could ask for. The terrace is also beautiful - we had a lovely time drinking coffee out there...

"Therese's home was so warm and welcoming. She was there at the house to meet us when we arrived and was responsive throughout our visit. The house was perfect for our family of 5. Each child got to have their own room with wonderful living space for us to hang out together in. The public transportation system was terrific (once we got it figured out). "Das Haus mit großem Grundstück liegt sehr ruhig und gleichzeitig sehr nah am Zentrum von Lidingö mit guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und guter Busanbindung an Metro und Fähre. Nachmittags und abends scheint die Sonne sehr schön auf die Terrasse neben der Küche, die sehr gut ausgestattet ist und zum gemeinsamen Kochen einlädt.
