"An old style house in need of a refurbishment or at least a very good clean. Agent late so had to wait outside being bitten by mosquitos. House smelt old. We could not open the windows without the stink bugs coming in. Complete list of contents, but no instructions for how to turn on the oven. The "double" bed in the rear corner of the building was 2 narrow, hard single mattresses on a movable frame - this was most uncomfortable. "Excellent rapport qualité/prix! La maison est grande, nous étions 15, on ne se marche pas dessus. L extérieur est grand et calme, terrain de pétanque, four à pizza et bbq, parfait. Le petite maison en plus est une bonne surprise. Les environs sont sympa. Netflix compris dans la loc. propriétaire un peu dur à joindre avant d arriver, nous étions un peu inquiet, mais finalement ce fut un super séjour. Bref parfait pour les grandes familles."

"We rented the house as a base during a meditation retreat in nearby Temple sur Lot. It is a wonderful home, very comfy, lots of places to relax and read a book. Kitchen was well-stocked. The host was communicative, easy-going and accommodating. Because we traveled in the winter, we didn’t get to take advantage of the pool but I imagine that’s a fantastic seasonal perk. "Fantastic house and location. Everything we wanted in a gite; rural feeling but close enough to the village to walk for bread in the morning, great outside space with shaded outside dining area and lovely pool, good indoor space with very welcome air con in the bedrooms. We’ve stayed in lots of gites in France and this is one of the best. "

The house accommodated us well, with a well equipped large kitchen, ample crockery and kitchen implements, a large dining table and two fridges plus freezer. Plenty of room for the children to play.
