"This is a really lovely place to stay. We stayed for two nights and had a really spacious room and large bathroom. We ate breakfast and dinner on both days and the food, service and ambience is outstanding. Lovely home cooked food of an extremely high standard with the loveliest staff. There is a beautiful garden to sit and read in. Foix is a few minutes drive away and well worth a visit (amazing castle and nice restaurants, market etc). "Døre var åben, men vi skulle ringe på klokken udenfor. Værelset var lidt slidt, mørkt og koldt. Badeværelset fint og ny istandsat. Vores værelse lå lige ud til indgangen, hvilket gav noget støj. Morgenmaden spartansk, men fint at sidde ved samme Bird som de andre gæster. "

"The location behind the palace was unique, nice vews from the palace. Easy/nice walk to the village. Lovely cathedral, good place for lunch near the city hall. Only remark, we left it cleaner than it was when we came. "

"Nous étions dans le « lodge », comprendre petit studio au sous sol de la maison. Étant en partie enterré, ce studio est dans le noir et sent le moisi en permanence. La chambre est un placard dans lequel est inséré le lit (qui touche tous les murs. Le ménage est à désirer (arachnophobes s’abstenir !). Petit déjeuner très correct.
