"We had an overnight stay in room 8, the room was a good size and lovely big bed, sadly the sash windows couldn’t be opened, the room was very hot which led to an uncomfortable nights sleep. We had breakfast in the morning before leaving earlier than we would have liked too, but with the sun beaming into the room and it already being so hot we chose to leave as was too hot to be comfortable. if the establishment address the issue with the windows, apart from requiring a fridge to keep milk cold...

"We only spent one night here but our room was warm, comfortable and spacious. There was a good choice for breakfast and the staff were all friendly. We would definitely stay again and felt it was great value for the standard. We stayed in a courtyard room but the outside was not really in use at this time of year so cannot comment on any noise"

"We called ahead to ask if we could check in early so we could change to go to a wedding. They weren’t able to get the room ready but did let us in before it had been cleaned so that we could change. The family room had 2 bedrooms and suited our needs really well, and would suit most families. The room decor was a little tired but clean and all in good working order. "A pleasant stay. Comfortable bed. Hardly haute cuisine but just honest, well cooked good food. Staff were helpful & friendly. If we need to stay in the area again, we'd be very happy to return to The Hollies Inn."
