Situated on a private cul-de-sac with nothing but gorgeous mountains behind, this beautiful 4 bedroom vacation home has extra sleeping capacity for up to 2 families. The house boasts 2 master suites, one on the main floor and one on the second floor (each with full baths and queen beds). There are 4 all-new full baths, one in each master suite, one on the second floor, and one in the entry-level basement. Stone fireplace in living room with plenty of firewood. Spectacular kitchen with all granite countertops, high-end cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances includes refrigerator, wine fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. Table comfortably seats 8 or more. Central A/C!!! Above-ground entry-level basement has an open floor plan, 60 inch TV, ping pong table. New second story deck, commercial grade BBQ. During ski season, perfect ski in, ski out private access to the slopes (25% off lift tickets)!!! In the summer you can enjoy the beautiful community amenities including pool(s), lake beaches, tennis, mini golf, and fitness center, all minutes away. Community amenity passes may be purchased for $10 per day per person if desired. For Fall and Spring there's horseback riding, tennis, hiking, strolls along the Delaware river, antique shopping or just enjoy the change of seasons. This house was perfect for our stay. Clean, comfortable, fun activities and next to the slopes. The owner was more than helpful and available for all of our questions. They even left us a bottle of wine! Wonderful stay.

Modern house with all amenities
Excellent property with modern ammenities. Nice fireplace with bluetooth speakers interconnected. Basement was perfect for kids for entertainment and privacy. Heated bathroom floor, front gas firepit and private deck with nice view. Not complaint about my stay. Only suggestions is the rental agreement should be part of the Vrbo process for more transperency and accountability. Overall, excellent property to retreat from fast paced life.

Having rented several times in the Poconos before, this was by far and away our favorite property. Owners are very communicative and helpful. House is better than advertised- great location for our ski trip and very comfortable. Extremely clean and well maintained. 5 star stay and Already planning our next stay here!

Nice house, room for everyone
We were in the area for a family wedding. Our group included adults 50+ and 80+ as well as a 12 year old. Great for the seniors to have a first floor bedroom and bath. An additional primary bedroom with bath and 2 more bedrooms and shared bath upstairs made sure there was room for everyone. Great to have the ping pong and other games downstairs. Be prepared if you are not used to mountain roads. Host was ver communicative and helpful.

Beautiful Home in Remote Pick County
Our home was all set for our visit, very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the remote location, but within a resort area with access to food/amenities without having to drive a long distance to a store. The home backs up to a ski resort (Big Bear) and is a beautiful area for hiking Everything provided was fresh/clean. We had a wonderful weekend!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway
This was an amazing family weekend getaway! The house was beautiful, very well appointed and extremely clean! It had all the amenities and then some to make our time there even more enjoyable. The fact that we could walk 150 feet to get to the slopes was an experience we will never forget. Phil and Susan were the ideal hosts - very easy to work with and super responsive when needed. Definitely recommend!

Enjoyable family stay
We stayed here in early autumn to visit the natural and historic areas nearby on the upper Delaware River. The house was spacious and the kitchen was particularly well equipped. The location was convenient to the sites we wanted to see. It is situated in a wooded area and one can walk to the ski slopes. There is adequate overhead lighting but we would have appreciated a few reading lamps in the common area and bedrooms. Renters should be aware that they are responsible for disposing of trash at a community compacting station. The hosts were excellent at communicating with us and ensuring everything went well.

Amazing home
Just spent Labor Day weekend at this property and we all loved it. The house is super clean, spacious and has a warm feeling to it. We felt right at home. Phil and Susan are amazing and reached out to us numerous times which proved to us that they are a decent , caring and dedicated owners. Our experience was wonderful and we definitely will plan on vacationing again at this property. Just beautiful.

Great Stay
House was as advertised, in a great community with plenty of amenities and activities to keep everyone occupied. Great home to rent with the family. Plenty of space and very comfortable. Ping Pong table added to the enjoyment. Took advantage of the backyard bbq and deck many evenings. Owners were extremely responsive, informative and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this property.

Serene and quiet location in great community with many amenities
The property was beautiful and well kept. The owners had great communication in making the reservation, check-in, questions while on premises and post stay. The property had everything we needed, the BBQ grill and large deck were wonderful, kitchen was fully equipped and in house stereo system was a great bonus.

A quiet and clean house tucked away in the woods
My friends and I plan a trip every year together and Susan and Philip's home was wonderful! It was so clean, quiet, and enough rooms for all of us. We used every part of the house, including the outdoor grill and seating area. The house is newly renovated, and the bathrooms were super clean. Susan and Philip were great with communicating, had absolute no problems there. They answered all questions I had and were very accommodating. We took advantage of the community lake, which the house includes passes for. We even went kayaking around the lake, which was a highlight of the trip. The house has beach chairs and towels. My friends enjoyed playing tennis. It was a great trip! Also, the house is located in a dead end so it's very safe for those who may have children. We saw chalk art from the previous people who stayed, brought back memories from my childhood. Highly recommend staying here for a quiet getaway.

Perfect getaway!
We had a great time staying in the ski in and ski out house. The location was great and the house was very clean and well stocked. The grill and wood burning fireplace were both a perfect addition. Very comfortable beds and plenty of room for our family. The bathrooms had heated floors and the basement mud room was perfect for undressing from the mountain. Great host and we look forward to returning for another visit. Ski big bear is a great small family mountain and the food at the on-site restaurant was great.

Amazing house!
This property was one of the best we've experienced in all of our travels. The house was immaculately clean, and was exactly as described on the website. Very well appointed! The owners are incredible as well.....very easy to communicate with and truly care about your satisfaction with the house and your overall stay. So much more personal than when renting through an agency. We hope to be back again!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house and the community are PERFECT for families with young children, and our kids had the best time here this summer. Beautiful Pocono Getaway
One of the best cabins we have ever rented. Very clean and updated. Owners are very responsive & helpful. They went out of their way to ensure we had a perfect stay. The Masthope community area is beautiful. The Ski Big Bear slopes are practically in your backyard. Our family of 10 enjoyed the daily visits from the white tailed deer & wild turkeys. It was the perfect spot to start & end each day.

A Gem in the Woods
What more is there to say about this Gem of a property other than it was an amazing experience from beginning to end. The house is absolutely beautiful, and sits on an amazingly serene and quiet cul de sac adjacent to the ski slopes. We stayed during the summer so there was no activity on the slopes but we were able to walk right out of the backyard onto the slopes for some up close nature walks with the kids. I could see this being an awesome convenience when there's actually snow on the ground. A great aspect about this is even though you're close to the slopes, the buffer of forest is large enough that it is still private and quiet if there was activity on the slopes. Regarding the house, this place is awesome. Starting on the main floor, you've got plenty of space to spread out (we had 4 adults and 3 kids ages 6 and under). The kitchen is brand new and great for cooking. We were able to eat outside (and BBQ) most nights on the large deck in the back which was very relaxing. We also spent a night in the dining room which has it's own separate room off the kitchen which makes it perfect for family dinner. The bedroom on the 1st floor is great as it has a hallway pocket door to provide some privacy to the bedroom and adjacent bathroom and you can still access the deck from the dining room side. Up stairs the 3 bedrooms are all very large and provide more than enough room to accommodate 7-8 people comfortably (2 beds and 2 bunk beds) with 2 bathrooms, 1 of which is an on-suite. Downstairs in the basement there is a ping pong table as well as a TV area with movies and games. It's the perfect setting for some fun. Did I mention the house has 6 flat screen TV's and a whole house sound system!! The kids (and adults) had some great dance parties! All in all the Masthope Mountain Community was a wonderful time, we enjoyed the pool and the adjacent bar, the ski lodge restaurant, the arcade, the lake (paddleboat with 6 people! and fishing with the kids!) and some golf about 20 mins away. Clearly we also enjoyed just unwinding in the quite serenity of the house and surroundings. Finally, the owners (both Phil and Sue) were extremely helpful and accommodating from beginning to end, making sure to check in just enough to ensure our stay was perfect. The house was also very clean and tidy upon our arrival. We definitely plan to come back during other seasons to see what the community is like in the fall and winter.
