"My husband and I had a rare 3day off at the same time. All we wanted was quiet, nature and a hot tub, and we enjoyed just that. The cabin is adorably rustic, feels secluded and comes with most necessities. Comfy bed, fire pit, multiple areas to sit and relax and the hot tub (with robes!) didn't disappoint. The properties trails, the welcoming owners and the "local animals" were a huge bonus. "

"This is a great property for a wide variety of guests. It was just the two of us staying for a long weekend (super cozy, and quiet) but it would be great with kids or multiple adult couples. Space to spread out if needed and a daylight basement if the kids need to get some energy out. "

"The cabin has a surprisingly well appointed kitchen compared to similar properties. For once I didn't have to go buy some piece of necessary equipment to get basic cooking tasks completed. It's by no means 100% stocked with everything you might need, but if you keep things simple, you should be fine. Maybe bring a sharp knife from home, as the knife set in the block is very low quality and very dull, making some prep difficult and possibly dangerous. "My family and I had a great time at the Harstine Island Cabin. It's in a wonderful location tucked back into the woods for a tranquil, camp like setting. "We loved staying in this cabin that truly is right next to the Nisqually River. Sitting out on the porch watching the river flow by is refreshing in the morning and relaxing in the evening. "We had a great time during our stay. I do have a recommendation, though. Please upgrade the paper products -- the paper towels and toilet paper are both thin and cheap. We didn't have enough toilet paper or regular bath towels for three adults and a child."

"Our family had the best time at this cabin! It was adorable and had everything needed to cook and make meals for a big crowd. We hung outside most of the time. The outdoor space is the perfect place to eat and play games together. Enjoyed picking blackberries, watching the wildlife, making smores at the fire pit, and playing outdoor games. We took our paddleboards a two minute drive away…just perfect!"

"Beautiful, quiet property right on the sound. House is well setup and stocked to stay in and cook all weekend. Backyard has a wonderful deck and yard to relax and enjoy nature."

"For our weekend getaway that included visiting friends and family in town, we did not want to spend our down time staring at hotel walls. This home on the lake gave us the most delightful deck to sit and enjoy sunset breezes and then morning coffee. Very relaxing after all the in-town flurry!! Thank you-hope to come back again!
