The Good:
Outstanding location on a beautiful little ultra-clear water lake. We rented kayaks for the kids, and paddled and fished around the lake every morning and evening. We even ventured out to the Crawling Stone Lake a couple of times through the channel at the northeast corner of the lake. There was easy access to town and it's activities. That alone is all worth the price.
The not-so good:
While the cottage is clean, there were issues.
We blew the kitchen fuse more than once while trying to make toast and coffee at the same time. This would shut down the electric in the kitchen and the kid's bedroom. The fuse box access was outside. The fuse box may need to be updated.
There were holes in the screens. I put a bandaid over one hole in a living room screen to prevent mosquitos, but missed other holes. ...so they snuck in the cottage anyway. The weather was unexpectedly hot for that time of year in general, reaching the 90's, and we needed those windows open to cool off. ...Those screens need replacing.
The front storm door doesn't close. Everytime you open the door, and forget to push or pull it shut, you'd let in more mosquitoes. That door needs to be replaced.
They provided one box fan for air circulation, but even at it's highest setting, it didn't really move air. They should provide three new fans, one for the living room, and one each for the bedrooms.
Lastly, the toilet is wobbly.
Overall, we loved it - but it could be a bit better.
