"We had a awesome time but the only is was unable to adjust the heat and the cabin was freezing. Finally the host responded after trying to contact him and he unlock the thermostat in order to turn the heat up.After that we had a awesome time. The home is beautiful and accommodated all our needs. "

"We found the Rustic Star to be exactly as advertised and thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway. It is very convenient to FDR State Park, Warm Springs, and Pine Mountain/Callaway Gardens. We had a couple of needs arise during our stay and the managers were easy to reach and responded to our request. We would definitely recommend the Rustic Star. The location was convenient and easy to find, but not quite as secluded as we had hoped. "

The kitchen was fully stocked with every gadget you would need and also included extra garbage bags, cooking spices, paper towels and even dog treats for our pets. "The house is located in a safe area with a nice path to the lake. It was clean. Beds were comfortable. Showers are tiled and nice with faucets high enough for tall people and plenty of water to wash with. Owner was easily accessible for information. "

"This place was 100% what we were looking for. We rented it for my son's graduation from boot camp. He loves the outdoors so we thought it would be relaxing for him to have a quiet place in the woods for his weekend away. Even though it was an hour from base, it was worth the drive! "The cabin was amazing, we had a large group for the weekend. We spent part of the day at wild animal safari, which was a short drive from the cabin. Later in the day we had a late lunch on the spacious deck, the adults rested upstairs while watching the kids enjoy the yard. Later in the evening we watched the kids "snipe hunt". I would highly recommend this cabin."
