"It was a very nice hotel, everything looked great and clean. I didn't see the fine print when booking that parking was a seperate price of $30 a day. The room was failrly inexpensive, this may have been the reason why."

"Our family met for my Mother's 86th Birthday. We typically go to the Lied Lodge in NE City. The pool was being repainted so we decided to change locations so the kids and others could swim. The person that checked us in was from Alaska but had a Russian accent. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversation during the check in process. I believe my family had a total of 5 rooms. Complimentary happy hour and hot breakfast is a definite benefit. I have never had to pay for parking while staying in LaVista. All in all we had a great celebration!"

"We love staying here when visiting in Omaha! Staff is always courteous and efficient. Breakfasts are excellent! Our only complaint is that the pool water is a little too chilly to be comfortable. We were hoping after the renovation it would be warmer. We have mentioned to the front desk several times and were told the temperature is 83° and that’s fine…"

"The hotel was very nice. We were disappointed the restaurant was closed on Sunday. We didn’t get our Omaha steak, But they did offer a limited menu at the bar. The hamburgers were very good with excellent beef and great salad. The bar tenders very friendly and helpful and there was a lively time watching the football game. The shuttle service was very good. They were friendly and accommodating and started at 4 AM making it easy to get to early morning flights. The coffee shop menu looked good and opens at 5.30 am. Unfortunately we did not have time to eat there. But the kind shuttle driver waited while I got a coffee since we were only passengers. We are elderly and everyone was very helpful. "
