"This is in a retirement complex within walking distance (1km) of the centre of Lisieux. The room we had was good, with a kitchen with Hob and microwave and a dining area. At the weekend the access to the building is by key code and the reception is not manned all the time. Very quiet. The set up seems quite surreal, but actually works well."

"This was the first hotel that we have ever stayed in where there is literally not a single staff member in the hotel overnight. Check-in is meant to be from 1.00 pm but when we arrived at 5.00 pm the hotel was deserted. We sat in a pub in the square until 6.30 pm by which time a member of staff had driven up.
